Just seen a TV advert advertising 'The Very Best Of Michael Bolton' and realised that I hadn't heard anything from him for years and years.
Anyone know what he's been up to- and if he still has those luscious locks

He is currently on a world tour, and, unfortunately for some, he has had a haircut!

Mind you, so did Crewe Alexandra and I wouldn't listen to their music.

I was a MB fan!! and can confess to attending one of his concerts!! It was quite good actually, wow a good ten years ago though.
He looks quite nice with short hair though, and no he hasn't been around for a while has he?

AOR stars are bit underrated in the eyes of the music critics. Usually they are the artist who can actually play and sing well in live.

He is one of those artists who doesnt need to release new material every year to be popular.

I'm sure he has done the odd song here and there in the states but your right, he has been quite quiet over here.

It's the fan base that does it....Imagaine if girls aloud didnt release an album for two years and then went on tour, nobody would care, but someone like bolton can.

That's the difference between music based very heavily on marketing and music based on talent...

By the way....I'm not a huge MB fan but just thought it was a good point

hiya i know that this forum on michael bolton was last posted on some 2 years ago but i saw it and decided to update all you michael bolton fansif any now as he definatly hasnt been heard of too much in the uk for the last few years. well where should i start, he released an album last spring called bolton swings sinatra which was a collection of songs by the great frank sinatra, then christmas 2006 he released a xmas album called bolton swings xmas. after that he has been touring pretty much since last summer. he recently performed live at the royal theatre in nottingham although i didnt get a chance to see him this time i`m sure i will the next time he appears,in 2005 he released an album called til the end of forever which was a collection of songs both new and old . if any of you remember 1983 when he released his 1st album under the name michael bolton rather than michael bolotin he released a song called fools game in which i have posted the video on you tube, if anyone would like to view please go on you tube and look for loverman2005 or fools game in the search bar,there is also a video on there from the 1985 album called everybodys crazy with the video of the same name. and to finish off the videos part theres a promo video of michael with his band of 1979-80 `blackjack` in which they released 2 albums , `blackjack no1 & worlds apart both are really good albums showing what michael can do with his voice, he is without a doubt 1 of the best singers in the world who has got pure talent and sells records because of that fact, if only the music industry was like that today instead of manfactured bands and singers , the days of making a career in music through talent have since passed , i hope that this little insight has updated you all a bit, thanks for reading, take care to all , bye for now.
