Free flashing?
I broke a friends N-Gage at christmas (well I swiched it off when it froze and it wouldnt switch back on if that constitutes breaking something) and they reflashed it for free @ carphone warehouse as this was a common 'white screen of death' problem with N-Gage.
Someone else I know has asked me where he can get a phone he has bought reflashed so all the tmobile menu's are gone (he's on orange) Does anyone think that CFW will do this for free? Or anywhere else that would do it? |

I think that as you are wanting this phone flashed to alter it's functions and not to cure a problem you will end up being charged for it.
You could attempt it yourself using a cable and files from the internet but if you aren't sure what you are doing it could end up causing problems. Best thing to do is be really nice to carphonewarehouse and see if they'll do it, but I suspect they will charge. |

I would suggest starting a thread on this topic on the mobiles forum and see if anyone's heard anything. Include full details of the problem etc.
