This Drama get's better and better

I love Vincent, and Suranne Jones, is classy, sleek and refreshingly, oceans apart from her Corrie character
Finding she had a 7 year old child, was a shock, and gave her much more depth...

The cases are interesting from beginning to end....

Cant' wait for more of this fantastic Series...

Yes, Im really enjoying this too. Ray Winstone is superb, though he is in most things. Im still unsure about ITV's 90 mins drama's. 4 weeks worth of them just isnt quite enough to get them into the publics mind.

I set my recorder to tape last nights episode but i forgot it was a 90 minute show and only had it set for 1 hour.
Can anyone tell me what happened in the last half hour or if this episode is ever repeated? Thanks

Don't think it's repeated, so here's what happened in the last 30 minutes:-

Vincent put himself up in a motel after accidentally running over Scott Bean. Suranne Jones' character had been following him, and alerted him to the fact that three heavies with baseball bats were just about to do him over, so he dealt with 2 of those and got the hell out. When he got home, he found out his house had been trashed as well and then got a warning off O'Connor Snr to leave it alone. Which he obviously took no notice of.

He managed to get O'Connor Jnr by himself, having followed him to the girlfriends house, and finding out they were lovers. It was explained that when the guy who was killed at the start had gone to the club that night, was off his head, and had offered his girlfriend (who was also O'Connor jnrs) to O'Connor Snr if he'd get him a foothold in clubland. The son went to have words with him about it, and in a tussle O'Connor grabbed the knife that the murdered guy had dropped, and the guy 'fell on it'.

To cut a long story short, there was then a standoff, when O'Connor jnr was discovered by his dad rescuing the cctv tapes at the club, to take to the police and he told his dad that Vincent was outside. Standoff. A couple of days later the dad and Vincent watched the tapes together and Vincent persuaded the dad that he should go to the police, and that the police officer to see should be Driscoll, the officer who is knocking off Vincents wife. (Coincidentally O'Connor Snr is the actor who played the taller Driscoll brother in Fools and Horses years ago.)

It ended with Vincent grudgingly shaking Driscolls hand as he handed over the evidence from the club to the police, with the 2 O'Connors in attendance.

Phew!

It was good.

It was very well acted as I expected and I liked it. Vincent does the job of the Police again. Are there any Private Detectives like the ones on TV? Probably not

I was intrigued by the fact that the main Policeman, is called Driscoll and in Green Green Grass, the villain played by Roy Marsden is one of the Driscoll brothers. Interesting fact ? Probably not.
