It was good but please the plot was rubbish as if you would have all those old faces talking about how great one street was. nice to see the old faces but nothing special at all.

Absolutely brilliant, and very 'feel good'.

I'm all warm and fuzzy inside now.

*Agrees with most of the above*

A great nostalgic look back of 20 years of a great soap......

So many familiar faces.......and so many tears.......(from me )

It was great - absolutely the right kind of thing to do to celebrate.

Its brillian is'nt it?! I've already seen it as there were some clips available to download somewhere. I paticularly enjoyed seeing really old faces such as Jane Harris and Gail Robinson. Fantastic stuff.
Is it not repeated at 5:35pm??

It is on at 5.35.

I think it was a clever way to do it, since there would be no way to plausibly bring back lots of characters and most of them had to be filmed outside of Austrailia.

Anyway, I loved it and it was very much in the spirit of Neighbours. Anyway, we had high drama yesterday.

It was really well put together, just a pity that on the prog at 2.05 they had that goddamn irritating presenter "I'm hard"... talk about trying to boost his ego.... it's about Neighbours not you. Bad choice there.

Its the first time they've done a kinda "party in the street" thing in a while, and it seemed a bit forced compared to, say the new years eve one, when the Scully house burnt down. Still, not bad.

Cheesy, but that's neighbours!!!

Neighbours ; giving students a reason to get out of bed for 20 years!

Did you see the state of EE though when it was approaching its birthday? There was no way they could have made such a big deal out of it because the media would have tore it to shreds. Also Neighbours celebrated its 20th about 3/4 months late on a random date so it does lose points for that. And could EE get away with such a gimmicky storyline? I really doubt it.

I do however think its quiet satisfying that EE did Dens Death for the occasion because it set up so many good storylines and has helped the show a lot.

Yep. Full Aussie credits played.

Did anyone watch the 45 minute special at 8:30am? It was Live and better than the special ep at the end of the anniversary ep. Talked to a lot more actors.

It was an awesome ep. Even though I'd already seen it once, it was still awesome and oh so Neighbours.
