Does anyone read these? They never usually provide much info we don't already know, but it's always worth a look as every now and again something new slips in.

These are the latest updates for today:

Emmerdale:

http://www.itv.com/page.asp?partid=4567

Ever since the sad death of Emmerdale legend Stan Richards last February, Dales devotees have been waiting for the show to give his character Seth Armstrong a proper send off.

Well that wait will be over this autumn as Seth is laid to rest in the village after tragically dying on the way to be reunited with the love of his life – Betty Eagleton. Seth’s death will bring back two old faces to the Dales – Kathy Glover and Biff Fowler. While Kathy will have the unenviable task of breaking the news of Seth’s death of Betty, Biff will help the grieving pensioner to let go of the anger she feels towards her long-term love.

But, while there’ll be plenty of tears as the village says goodbye to one of their much-loved residents, there’ll be reasons to smile too as Seth makes his presence felt in a series of extraordinary events. Don’t miss it!

While one door closes, another one has been opening for Emmerdale villainess Steph Stokes. Not long ago she was in the grip of mental illness having poisoned her father Alan and pushed best friend Shelly Williams off a ferry!

But now she’s back to her old, roguish self and Dr Adam Forsythe can’t get enough of her. However, despite having a hunky doctor desperate to take down her vital statistics, Steph may not be ready for to put her heart on the line. As November approaches Dr Adam will finally make a move on the B&B beauty – but her reaction is not the one he’s expecting.

Steph is falling in love – but is she able to let anybody get that close to her? Let’s just hope Dr Adam isn’t planning on taking boat trip with her anytime soon…

Like Steph, Louise Appleton’s romantic history is pretty disastrous. After her fling with Matthew King wrecked her relationship with loyal boyfriend Terry Woods, Louise has kept a low profile in Australia. But you can’t keep a lusty lady down and Louise is poised to find herself a new man to mess with. Sexy copper Martin – the father of one of Victoria Sugden’s school friends – will knock Louise off her feet, literally, when they first meet.

And after some mishaps and verbal sparring, the pair will finally enjoy a lunch date that promises more. However, considering the big skeleton in Louise’s closet is that she murdered her psycho ex-lover Ray Mullan – maybe getting cosy with a policeman isn’t the wisest idea!

Corrie:

http://www.itv.com/page.asp?partid=4566

We’ve watched her grow from a sharp-tongued schoolgirl into a wannabe footballer’s wife, but Candice Stowe is off to pursue her dreams of fame and fortune away from Weatherfield.

Actress Nikki Sanderson will follow her real-life love Danny Young out of the Street to pastures new. But those who cried with laughter as Candice tried to reinvent herself as a weather girl won’t be disappointed – the lady will be going out in style. Ever since she was papped falling out of a nightclub with footballer ex-boyfriend Warren, Candice has fancied herself as a minor celebrity and has been desperately looking for a new way to get herself in the papers.

And Candice will get her wish in November when she gets offered the chance of a lifetime. OK, so she’s not going to be Jude Law’s new nanny or David Beckham’s PA, but Candice will be getting up close and personal with some famous men. Those of you who’ve been reading our Corrie gossip stories will know exactly who they are!

The wedding of the century is upon us and the preparations are in full swing. Yes, Les and Cilla are going to get hitched and there won’t be a dry eye in the house on the big day. We never thought we’d see the day when Les Battersby elicited our sympathy but since his bride is the most evil woman in Weatherfield, our hearts go out to him.

You’d have thought her previous record for fidelity would have got Les worried about her ability to keep the ‘forsaking all others’ vow. And he should be. On their wedding night Cilla decides she deserves one final fling and whisks a mystery man up to her and Les’ bedroom. Astonishingly, Les actually catches them at it – but Cilla still manages to get him up the aisle anyway. How? You’ll have to wait and see…

Blimey, that Steve McDonald is a brave man. With evil Jimmy Clayton paying sinister visits to Streetcars to help “persuade” Lloyd to sack Ronnie, you’d have thought Steve would be keen to go along with his wishes. But no, Mr McDonald is too in love to pay any attention to psycho ex-husbands and refuses to let Ronnie leave the company.

We already know that this stubbornness is going to put both Steve and Ronnie’s lives in jeopardy, but we can also confirm that poor Claire Peacock will also be in the firing line. Obviously Jimmy didn’t see Claire getting handy with her fists at the boxing match recently, and he decides to send his son out to put the frighteners on her.

But Claire, who inexplicably loves her job, isn’t willing to bow down to a bully. Let’s just hope her bravery doesn’t see her putting her life and her marriage at risk…
