Has anyone been onto dot-mobile.co.uk?? LINK HERE

They seem pretty good but I havent heard much about them Their packages seem really good in their flexibility to chose how you use your free credits, ie. sharing them between texts and calls - as opposed to someone like o2 who set a specific number of free texts and calls.

I'm currently torn between a monthly contract from O2 online, or a dot mobile one. They seem reasonably priced and VERY flexible.

Can anyone spare the time to have a quick peruse and let me know your thoughts? Ta.

This is just stop the clock renamed. Good you can use the units between texts and minutes though.

Lets compare the package, £40. On Dot Mobile you Get 1200 units, with Vodafone on line tarriff 350 Anytime minutes, 500 texts. If you convert this into Dot Mobiles units that would be 700 units for the minutes and 500 units for the texts= 1200 units

Basically same prices as vodafone online contracts but with the added benefit of being able to use your money for more texts or minutes whichever is preferable. I am tempted.

the tariffs are very good values, however, the phones are a bit pricy. i would suggest e2save for a good cheap phone

The phones are quite expensive. Might have to settle for an 02 contract. The D600 (now free with O2 contracts) is becoming more and more appealing.

Dot's phones seem very limited in terms of range.

So in principle, does this mean you could rollover your texts?

i dont think voda have roll-over text anymore...

(they used to be 3 months then changed to one month, n i cancelled my contract at that point! and heard that they dont rollover anymore )

Onemancrew, what I mean is, if the unit thing includes text messages, and I don't use the full bundle, then in effect my text message bundle rolls over into the following month, yes?

Has any one seen that txt book thing that Dot are offering? Not sure what the point is. Gimmick or not?
