EastEnders: Monday 24th October 2005 - Friday 28th October 2005, The BIG Week we've been waiting for...

...starts here!

Discuss the long awaited return of Grant this coming week, plus another comeback for Phil! Put any thoughts about the upcoming 4 promising episodes right here.

I cannot wait, but, I also cannot help feel it may be a flop, and the writers will just make them out to be gangsters, and that will be a turn off, well for me anyways. All in all, I hope it works.

Not as big as Den dying or him returning.

I like the Mictchell's but they are two arrogant and cocky.
Johnny should put them all down!

Not really excited about Phil's return, he didn't really dazzle me before. Grant was always the best of the two, can't wait to see him back on the Square.

I've never actually seen Grant in Eastenders, but I can't wait as I've heard so much about him!
Obviously seen Phil.
I'm away next week though! So I'll have to catch up on Sunday!

Is it true that actors Ross Kemp (Grant) and Steve MacFadden (Phil) are in a feud at the moment due to MacFadden claiming to be a better actor than Kemp? ROTFLMAO!!!!! Ross Kemp is a far better actor than he is, but no one else can play Phil Mitchell better than MacFadden can, that I will admit.

I think the rumours about them being in a feud are just that rumours.

I'm so looking forward to Grant and Phil's return, but so not looking forward to Peggy gloating when they do.

Oh yes that'll be great. She hasn't seen Grant since she left in 1994 or 1995 after Sharongate - I think.

I think the last time they saw each other was when she led him to believe she wanted him back. then humiliated him infront of a packed pub

Classic scene - Grant walking out of the pub, crying in the pouring rain as the camera slowly panned up and away.

I dont think that was then, i remeber that scene from a christmas when Tiffany almost slept with Beppe but changed her mind, and Grant found out that she was with him, he was crying in the rain then.

On second thoughts, I think you're spot on!

Still a classic scene though.

(Can anyone else tell that I am tired? )

I remember that episode too, Grant slept with Tiff's mum Louise, she was a good character, shame she left, well it was a shame that Tiff left!

EastEnders should do one or two episodes a week again, like The Bill does, and have the episodes run in a 60 minute format. Personally, I think it would work.

I really enjoyed the return, a bit transparant on how it all unfolded...etc but good enough to start getting the ill soap back to its healthy roots.

Well EE beat Corrie when they went head to head back in 2001 so it's no wonder ITV didn't want them to clash again.
