Why did he actually throw the fire bomb in? When was it i remeber somebody throwing a fire bomb in. How was he killed?

Des was a great character when he first arrived, I always liked his interaction with Reg. Sadly, he was used by the new executive producer as a plot device for the explosion, then later he morphed into a charicature villain and went on the run and was later killed off.

Yes it's sorely lacking something compared to the episodes that are on UKTV Gold now but I'm still a fan of the show.

Did we actually see des die? Because didnt he get with sheela(sorry if i spelt her name wrong lol) and she arrived in 2003 and correct me if im wrong the bill is now in 2002
