...sometimes it seems I'm the only one that actually likes him, but a few more do!

I'm hoping that they were actually in order and that he got the most votes

And you're not an idiot for calling someone an idiot who you have never met?

The guy's been playing the pity card all week, there is no way he should still be in and he is making a mockery of the competition.

I really like Chico too! Think he's more entertaining than most. I was very surprised to see one of the chief executives of my company stood with his family in the audience tonight! On monday I will be questioning him on how he knows Chico!

Chico seemed to focus more on the singing this week. If next week he focuses totally on the singing, and as his songs get gradually less cheesy, we could have a winner.

No..I think he deserves to still be in as the x factor is an all round package and he is certainly catching peoples eye. and has something.

He shouldn't win though.

It was a one week fad. It happened with Voices With Soul last year don't forget.

Quite clearly isnt! What does he do that makes him an idiot? He puts energy into his performances to make them memorable, unlike acts like Journey South. When you look back at last week and tonights show, you instantly remember Chicos performances. Dont deny it

Whilst I may agree with the first bit of your post, I have to take you up on the second.

JS have a great chemistry imo. And put alot into it.

I thought Chico was vastly improved this week and enjoyed his performance. I even liked last weeks but then that was probably more shock than anything else lol

He is memorable ad far more enjoyable to watch than 4tune who bore me apart from cute little Phil

im a big Chico fan, i think hes hillarious to watch and gives the competition a fun side to it, but i'll admit that someones he is a bit too much and understand why some people dont like him

Totally agree.

I also think he's the face of xfactor at the moment - I'll bet they get more press from Chico than any other act.

He's money to them.

But I'd like to see him tone it down next week though, try a less energetic song, we know he can dance, we know he can rock, I'd like something a bit more soulful requiring less moving about!

He's latino, so I'd like to see him try "Hero" by Enrique....

If he pulls that off he well deserves to stay a bit longer.

I so agree with you. Last week he was 'incredibly crap'. This week he improved to 'crap'

You know, that's not a bad idea actually. Could be a good idea for him.. though on the other hand, it might make his already admittedly average vocals show up even more..

I went to a small show last night with a star of the 80's and really talented guy playing the guitar. They managed to hold the audience for 3 hours or more. Just a piano, guitar and singing.

Made me think.

Could any of the acts on the show last night, Chico included do that for me. I the answer is no.

Chico improved, but like people have said, better than crap is just .. well not crap. That does not mean good. But who cares anyway. Does anyone really think that any of these guys have a cat in hells chance of being a recording artist past the mandatory number one, and followup album of cover versions.

So Chico to win, why not.... It makes no difference in the long run, beacuse if any of these acts were true stars they will be signed up anyway.

i can see what simon meant last night, i was also looking forward to chico's performance.

i don't think he's a great singer, his enunciation is appalling (and not as funny as the spanish girl's) and he is very 'growly' or weak in parts.

however, his performances are good. he has great timing and doesn't seem to lose his place. the only other one who 'performs' as well as chico is brenda

now i'm not saying that that level of performance would suit all the acts there, but it's good to see somebody can remember their choreography, sing and still appear as if it's effortless.

i see chico lasting another week or two, until the really good acts (and there are quite a few of them) are left.
