o2-UK and o2-IRELAND aren't the same network. You'll need your phone unlocking.

O2
O2 UK and O2 Ireland are two seperate divisions and are part of O2 PLC, it does not mean that they are the same network.
Orange UK and orange india are actaully owned by two different companies now, France telecom and Hutchison. If you use the O2 ireland sim card, you will be charged roaming rates. So you'll need that phone unlocking. Then sell, the O2 Ireland sim card on ebay. |
