USB Cable or Bluetooth for 6230i
Hi, what would you recommend for connecting a 6230i to my PC, via Bluetooth or USB Data Cable. Which is the best in terms of reliablility and transfer speed?
Also are the dirt cheap USB Cables and bluetooth adaptors on Ebay any good? Thanks.

I use a data usb cable to conect my 6230i phone and have had no problems with it at all.
It tranfers music onto the phone very fast and is very easy to use. I got mine from e-bay and it was 1 like THIS Hope that helps |

USB is far quicker.
A 60-odd mb video file took about an hour or something silly like that to transfer to my phone via blutooth. Still, it's not really deisgned for bulk data transfer such as that. On the plus side, a bluetooth dongle (the cheapo ones are generally fine ... mine was only £10 and I've had no bother with it) will work with any bluetooth phone ... a USB cable is only likely to work with other phones from the same manufacturer ... at best. |

the advantage of BT is that it will work with any phone that you or anyone else have. and it will do other stuff too...

One thing that has not been mentioned. The 6230i only supports dial up networking via BT or IRDA. Guess how I found out.
