Its always playing up. Delivery reports don't work on mine (ex genie numbers). Messages taking ages to reach the other end. Last week they were failing to send at all, so I thought. They came up as not sent so I wasn't charged but they were being sent two or three times in one go.

I have this too - there is one particular friend who just NEVER gets my texts. Others are either delayed by hours (whatever network they are on) or you get a message back saying delivery has failed, you resend it and they have actually both gone - you need to change to a decent network like I am about to. O2 may well be cheap but there is a reason for that - I would rather pay for good quality and a network that works and has half decent customer service. i.e. anyone but O2!

Yeah im on 02 and delivery reports dont work on my phone either.
And txt plays up quite a lot - been many times where a msg has said its failed to send, and in actual fact its gone thru... Annoying aint it! Still, I'll stay with 02 cos I like my phone, I like my 10% cashback rewards, and I like my txt bolt on. Every cloud has a silver lining!

It doesn't actually. First thing I always try and it doesn't help at all. It's the network and always has been. |

I dont know of many customers who have problems with SMS taking hours to go around, most problems with SMS are usually down to the customers fiddling with their phones rather than the network. |
