happyfeet, I feel I may be about to bring the tone of the conversation down, but don't male dancers have lovely bums

[From the BBC website]

Claudia's back to talk about everything Strictly.

Tonight she is joined by Gloria Hunniford and Darren Bennett, the latest couple to jive out of the competition.

Bruno Tonioli will be discussing the fall-out from Saturday night, and we'll be asking Colin Jackson's partner Erin Boag what went wrong at the weekend.

Also, TV guru Boyd Hilton will be telling us where the public's loyalties lie, and Strictly super-fans Bananarama will be in the studio to tell us who they think will finish the series as champions!

So don't miss Strictly Come Dancing – Tonight at 6:30pm, on BBC TWO.

(yay! )

i know it was a while ago but i went on the link that someone put up showing pics from sat 22nd and there is SUCH a cute pic of Bill and Karen when they sat on the floor at the end. I LOVED that purple dress on Karen she looked georgous!!!!

Anywy back to the topic, I think Claudias style suits her very well, i think it wud look silly on any one but her but she pulls it off with grace!

Also who is JLC? I didn't see him, i'm glad we have claudia tho she's sooo funny i always have a giggle.

Justin Lee Collins (JLC) was the original presenter of the weekday show. He presented it when it was on BBC3. I think when the BBC moved the show to BBC2 they decided they needed a better known presenter and chose Claudia. She has a similar sense of humour to JLC, so the transistion wasn't too bad, although I miss JLC's randomness quite a lot. He was one of the main reasons
I fell in love with all things SCD in the first place, and I'm sorry that more people didn't get to see how funny he was.

A new week and five new outfits !

Today Claudia was wearing an over-the-knee black wrap dress with a white rosette on black pattern. She alsow wore the green charm necklace from last Friday along with the deep sea green stilettos she wore last week too. Wrap dresses are always very flattering and this one is no exception showing Claudia's figure off but the pattern wasn't anything special for me - on the other hand - the Bananarama girls looked stunning - very very stylish - I would have loved to have nicked the outfits they had on!

I would like to see Claudia try out a real retro look with her hair up in rolls and a swingy 40s style tea dress. I think it would really suit her.

Ooh stupendous idea! Maybe for the final week she could be persuaded to do it. I can't imagine Claudia with her hair up - she always seems to wear it down. I looove tea dresses

Claudia has worn the green necklace on quite a number of occasions - does it have a special significance I wonder?

Mebbe it's just her favourite, or she's going through a green phase, or perhaps it was a gift? It's nice but not really the sort of thing I'd wear

Afraid I'm been a bit lax in the Claudia fashion watching stakes. But do appreciate the updates.

Unfortunately the programme is on at a pretty awkward time for me. So only get to see it a couple of times a week

But happyfeet your commentaries are a must read

She'd only need to have the front bit up in rolls, maybe with curls down the back. Something like this maybe: http://www.livejournal.com/community...ir/284225.html

Actually, as a man, I realise I have no right to comment on a ladies' fashion sense (though it does look nice on her). I was thinking it may be a birthstone or something

Mindhorn - you have as much right to comment as anyone else and in fact, I'd be really interested to hear a male point of view...

Polish - how annoying about the timing of ITT for you; thanks for the shout-out (mwah), it means more coming from someone who isn't always enamoured with Claudia's style

happyfeet, could you please keep the commentary going on Claudia's clothes and shoes next week? I'm going to be away from the 5th, back 11th, and I haven't got room on the video to record SCD and all the ITT's!! I'll be relying on you to update me when I come back!

Ta muchly!

I think the BBC need their heads read!!!! He didn't have a similar sense of humour to Claudia - his was way funnier, and so much more positive - not saying that Claudia isn;t as the BBC may have told her to be all probing and delving and sly! Where as JLC was laugh a minute, Claudia is laugh a show on a good day! Not a fan (in case u hadn't guessed!) Biggest mistake the BBC ever made - that and not releasing a DVD!

Clothes: Brown, brown and more brown. Lippy: still 'I can't believe it's not flesh!' colour. All you need to know.

(Oh, the pressure of having Eve 'Excessive Cleavage' Pollard' for a mum: don't try so hard, Claud.)

I know! Why no DVD? I bought 'Brendan and Natasha: It's Strictly Dancing' on DVD just so I could get their dances from the show. It's really bizarre the way the BBC treat SCD, they have this incredibly popular show and they do nothing with it. They never repeat it (although they show reruns of 'Little Britain' almost continually on BBC3, so it's not as if they don't have the airtime) and they never see the market for a DVD, although I'm sure there'd be a huge demand for it at Christmas. My gran would be thrilled with a DVD of the show, as would I. It's got such cross-generational appeal and the BBC just never see the possibilities. Grrr, it winds me up so much. It's almost as though they're embarrassed to be doing something so populist, whereas they should be thrilled to have created a format that's got so many people off the sofas and dancing!

Sorry, that had nothing whatsoever to do with Claudia. Please excuse my ranting.

What's wrong with brown and pale-lipstick? What should she wear? I think the brown is flattering understated and classic (and more imaginative than black) for her colouring, and she always wears a strong retro eye, so pale lipstick compliments that... Of course it's all a matter of taste but having said that, I would never wear pale lipstick but can appreciate it works on her

TONIGHT ON ITT (from the BBC website):

Claudia wants you to ask the questions tonight.

Joining Claudia tonight we have Saturday's top scorers: Patsy and Anton. Will they be able to continue their reign?

Also tonight, Brendan and Fiona will be on the sofa discussing their performance and how the Foxtrot is going. Can they survive another show?

Zoe and Ian drop in to talk about their routine. They've lost points each week- can they get back up to the top?

Len will be with them giving his opinion of their performance, and will also be giving his weekly Master class. Don't miss it!

If you have a question for any of the guests tonight email Claudia. Please put "It Takes Two" in the subject field.

Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two is on tonight at 6.30pm on BBC Two."

Oh my gosh: Anton, Brendan AND Ian - there will be millions of questions! And if there ever was a time to storm the studio, it would be tonight!!

I. Can't. Wait.

*barely suppressed squeal*

I can make some of that lippy for her. All I need to do is find some empty lippy containers, and some gift boxes!
