orange spv c500 & o2 online contract sim

can't get my o2 online 300 sim card to work with orange spv c500. it send texts and phone calls are fine but no mms picture messages can be sent. My friend has set my phone up and my sim card has worked before in other phones. any 1 got one of these phones on o2 that can send me instructions on how to set it up

I've got one of these phones too.

Because they are exclusive to orange it may be very hard to set up the web browsing and mms to any other net work. Which is a bummer as I don't wanna go on orange.

i have my old c500 at home working perfectly well with o2 , if u cant get it working from that site ill look at my settings when i get home

I've got the c550 with an O2 online payg sim. I had a hell of a lot of trouble setting my phone up.

The best tip I can give is;

take the settings from either coolsmartphone or modaco.com and when you have put the settings in, re-boot your phone BEFORE trying them.

Hi Peeps!

thanks for replys and guidance. The details of settings are precise and exactly what are needed. The only problem is i seem to be getting confused and mixed up because of the menus on orange phone. i.e when entering mms settings where do they go? apn address does it need http://
also what details go in proxy?
So i'm stumped really on entering the specific details into orange spv c500 phone. If some1 can guide me on this or have any links with a guide/pictures that would be a great help
