Yeah.. that's fair enough, but some comments around here have actually been quite discriminatory. BBLB even went to the extent of pointing out that they weren't making fun of his hair colour -- just his dye job.

For the record, Tim apparently isn't bright carrot-top ginger. He has that dark brownish-red kind of red hair.

Yeah... a lot of people confuse ginger hair (relatively light orangey, usually curly) with red hair (darker, more red-orange, usually straighter).

I have that colour of hair. I can report that my beard is kind of light brown, my underarm and body hair is dark brown, and my... well... there are some things I won't discuss about myself on message boards. ”
Mmm.. I've got hair that's about as red as you can get. Really red. Not orange. Not brown. Not ginger. Very straight too. Some people I've encountered didn't even believe it was my real colour.
I've only dyed it once, for Hallowe'en, and the wash-in-wash-out black dye stayed in for five months! It faded at the same time, so went from all black to all brown to all red -- no tiger stripes.
My eyebrows are pretty much blond, and anywhere else is MY business. =)
As a sidenote, the cute australian girls who live in the flat above mentioned last night that they were completely surprised by the ginger watch thing. It seems redheads are far more common down there, and don't get singled out... hmmm....
