ok i am looking for answers, the producers and camera men must of seen him in the shower, does anyone know:

if he dyes them, or
are they natural (ginger?),
if he has shaved them off too?
if they're not shaved how long does he spend shaping them?
does he use the same comb as the one for his head?

this is obviously a very important topic, the public (ok maybe its just me) demands the answers!

I just don't get why this is so interesting? Kates hair is clearly dyed but there seems to be no fuss over that?

P.S It is just you.

Safe from what? Nuclear war? Terrorism? For Christ's sake this "Oh Tim might be ginger" thing is puerile crap.

I think (I hope) there is an element of irony in the ginger horror posts.

It is faintly comical that this vain buffoon of a man feels the need to disguise his true hair colour - and never admit it.
It reeks of the kind of man who sports an unconvincing toupee, like a small persian cat nestling on the top of his head.

I'm not bloody surprised he's ashamed considering the childish comments coming out on this website, the media and on BBLB.

I don't think Tim's ginger hair matters at all. It is unfortunate that ginger people really do get bullied for it. But in the context of BBLB reporting about it, and people discussing it, it is tongue-in-cheek irony. Lets face it, the entire Big Brother concept is one of dumb tabloid ridicule. We come here to discuss purile little pieces of crap about people we don't even know. So ginger hair is as good a target as any.

I think the main reason Tim's gingerness matters so much is because he appears to care too much about his personal grooming. All the time spent styling his hair even though it is stupid curly inbred rich-person's hair anyway. Shaving his chest hair. He has made himself look ridiculous. So it's even more fun to think that ginger hair will start appearing.

For the record, Tim apparently isn't bright carrot-top ginger. He has that dark brownish-red kind of red hair.

I have that colour of hair. I can report that my beard is kind of light brown, my underarm and body hair is dark brown, and my... well... there are some things I won't discuss about myself on message boards.

Yeah.. that's fair enough, but some comments around here have actually been quite discriminatory. BBLB even went to the extent of pointing out that they weren't making fun of his hair colour -- just his dye job.

Yeah... a lot of people confuse ginger hair (relatively light orangey, usually curly) with red hair (darker, more red-orange, usually straighter).

Mmm.. I've got hair that's about as red as you can get. Really red. Not orange. Not brown. Not ginger. Very straight too. Some people I've encountered didn't even believe it was my real colour.

I've only dyed it once, for Hallowe'en, and the wash-in-wash-out black dye stayed in for five months! It faded at the same time, so went from all black to all brown to all red -- no tiger stripes.

My eyebrows are pretty much blond, and anywhere else is MY business. =)

As a sidenote, the cute australian girls who live in the flat above mentioned last night that they were completely surprised by the ginger watch thing. It seems redheads are far more common down there, and don't get singled out... hmmm....

I remember someone telling a ginger joke in front of my Canadian friends, they asked why british people make fun of red haired people as they had noticed it a few times. They said in Canada red hair is considered very attractive.

Oh dear, that did make me laugh!! Horrible, aren't I? What exactly is "stupid curly inbred rich-persons hair" anyway?

If I have curly hair, does that make me rich and inbred? (wouldn't mind the rich part, personally).

For example:
Alicia Witt: Red hair = GORGEOUS x 1,000

Chris Evans: Ginger hair = UGLY TROLL x 1,000,000

all these views! but not enough posts! c'mon people, you so care. someone must have seen a few wisps, unless bb are saving it for the DVD, perhaps next weeks task could be to determine the housmate by a stray hair, like the wine tasting they did one year. bb take the sheets away each week it wouldn't be hard.

Red hair and freckles are a consequence of eating too many ginger biscuits as a child. With Tim's background (I almost said 'roots'), he was probably silver-spoonfed Bath Olivers. Leave the man alone - all will be revealed soon enough.
