O2 Laptop connection
Is anyone using O2 and using them to gain access to the internet through a laptop? - if so are using your mobile phone or a datacard to connect?
I notice they have their datacards but I was hoping I could connect using my D500 as their datacards cost around £100. |

If you read the fourth reply to your other post you will see it is possible using some mobile phones.
I use a Nokia 7250i with IRDA and USB cable on O2 and a Nokia 6230i with BT on Orange, both GPRS with my laptop. Check out the D500 manufactures website (Samsung) for modem drivers and connectivity options. Note. O2 do not officially support Internet access on PAYG only contract, but there is away around it but the connection can be slow. |
