EE has had a comedy injection over the past few months, finally and thankfully. Dot and Pat are leading the way and Stacey is not far behind. Jim has some good lines too.

Pat: I hope she doesnt get 20 years

It was great and very funny thanks to Tony Jordan with this classic lines. It had the right mix of comedy and drama tonight.

Back on topic - tonight's episode was funny. the banter between Phil and Grant "I'm sorry I tried to shoot you" "I'm sorry I tried to drown you" was fantastic!

Phil and Grant have always supplied EE with action and great comedy moments.
Glad they are back, tonight was excellent.

Dot's line about "some people say the square was built around me" had me pmsl, thought it was a really good line, and also noticed a lot more light hearted approach along with the extra violence and it worked really well i thought.

I liked:

Phil:You think we can take him on?
Grant:Yeh, as long as we don't have to chase him!!!

And when Phil said Grant was stupid!!! What a fantastic episode!!!

yeah i loved it when they were talking about looking "hard" but not having to run!

Pure genius!!

Johnny: Last time I saw you pair you win this high

Grant: We grew

And...

Johnny mentioned them being civilised...

Phil: That's the way we were brought up

Phil: Sorry I shot you
Grant: Sorry I tried to drown you
Phil: Familys eh?

Tony Jordan is by far the best writer on ANY soap in my opinion.

Also I am really pleased that Phil and Grant are back as it is just like it used to be before the soap hit rock bottom.

Grant: "Let's go to the Vic."

Billie: "Can I come?"

"NO."

Butters, it's amazing to think how much you've come on over the years.

I seem to remember that you used to wade in, almost as if you were using a big chopper to hack through the posts. But now, reason is your weapon and you are to be commended.

As you so rightly implied, drama is nothing without a dash of comedy to balance it out. That's what made tonight's episode so special for me. I join your toasts in looking forward to many more.
