Time for Alex Fans to Stand Up and be Counted
We are on the verge of having Alex's chance of winning Big Brother heavily dented if Adele gets evicted this friday. Adele is the one person Alex really trusts and can convide in. If she gos Alex will be excluded from the group once again leaving his only ally Tim. Alex fans must stand up now and get that pig Jade evicted this firday. You've been begging for the chance long enough, dont slip up now - Get that pig out and SAVE ALEX!
*Despite what you hear on this forum the odds are in our favour and so are the press, we did it with spencer and we can do it again! *

I think it would be better for Alex if Adele did go, because it would mean he would mix more with the group. Him and Adele have isolated themselves, but if she goes and he gets pally with Tim, it will mean talking more to PJ, Jonny, Kate and Jade as well. That's just my view anyway.

Bring back nerotic Alex
This is what made me like him in the first place. And I thnk he was much better when he slagged people off to their faces rather than behind their backs with Adele.

NO! Like Emma555, Adele going will HELP Alex. She is suffocating him slowly. Think back to when Sandy left - Alex immediately lightened up and fitted in with the group a bit better. The same would happen here I'm sure. I think his natural instinct is to 'pair off' - he's not a natural group person; but Adele is the worst person for him to bond with! She would also be plotting his demise too, so not exactly a faithful friend there I imagine. If Adele goes, I am convinced Alex will gradually cheer up and mix better with the others (a small, manageable group). Yes, he'll probably get nominated - but at this stage, with so few players left, they all will be at one point or another. Therefore it really comes down to PUBLIC approval from now on in, and while he's closeted off with bitchy Adele, Alex's stock will just keep dropping!

JADE OUT!

We haven't seen an Alex vote for awhile and my feeling is that opinion on him will have depreciated quite a bit since the last one. Reckon he's on a downward slope with Adele and getting her out will be his only chance of being saved. nd

Previous but 1 poster . No that wont wash. ( and i think you know it). Unfortuately Jade (cos I genuinely quite like her), has to be voted out to provide Alex with an effective ally - adele. Otherwise he will be quite simply quoshed by the opposition.

Vote Jade out .. for the good of Alex.
If your a fan of Alex then you certainly should keep Adele in for as long as possible, and therefore vote Jade out.... there would be far too much 'power' in the hands of Jonny and his jovial gang otherwise.

WHY alex in?
I found Alex mildly amusing for the first three weeks and even voted him above Spencer .MY mistake .He does "nothing" to make me so much as smile nowadays .He "whines" in that awful voice all the time and nitpicks over the most ridiculous things .
The final straw was listening to him give "weegate" as a nomination reason 5 WEEKS after it happened ! I'm soooo sorry Spencer . but if he has to stay in then I think he's a lot better off without Adele who seems to send hiom into deep depression with her comments in their "chats"

The bottom line is - you all have no idea what Alex will do without Adele.
The only thing to go on is that he has become quieter and more introvert since he has been friends with Adele. Without her he may become a) more integrated with the group and rely on his own natural humour to suvive (what he did when Sandy left) - b) killed off (metaphorically) by the rest of the group (as yet unseen). Who knows - I know where I would have my money. If he is so weak that he need Adele to survive then he won't win BB. |

You can't put all the blame on Adele or Jade. Alex was a willing participant in all the nastiness they did. The saying... 'Lie down with dogs, wake up with fleas' springs to mind. Of course, I think that saying applies to Adele and Jade regarding Alex. Those three deserve each other. Alex with Tim? Ooooh I hope so.........I really hope so

Rightly or wrongly, he wants to get on with everyone.

Adele has NOTHING to do with the way Alex act/react. Alex became quieter after the weegate and after being the first one to be nominated , and of course the departure of Sandy and the House devide. Adele was merey there to keep him company in the begining then she became his ally and confident when Sandy's left. Adele didn't change him, Alex is just Alex. |

Alex fan
Bring back the neurotic Alex, he's absolutely hilarious! Did you see how he was fretting over his puppet on Tuesday night? LOL! I was in stitches after reading the article from BB, which I've posted below. Hope u enjoy it too! Quote:
INSOMNIAC Alex sits the night out with only his puppet for company... ALEX has joined the night owls gang, staying up until eight in the morning perfecting his puppet. At 3.30am, the model started work on his puppet, after complaining to Adele that he was unhappy with his work so far. He carefully cut out cloth for his miniature Sandy doll, commenting and whistling to himself as he worked. Two hours later, he was briefly joined by Jonny. "I'm pissed off," the fireman confessed. "I can't sleep again." The Durham lad sat down to talk puppets: "My line for Tim will be 'How incredibly mind-numbingly boring' because he's said that a few times... 'Cool', 'Golly Gosh', sounds like a posh thing to say," he told Alex. But Jonny soon went to bed again, leaving Alex to chat to himself as he laboured on. Breaking the silence now and then, the solitary one quipped: "'Golly gosh', that's what posh people say. 'Golly gosh', that's what the pricks say." He attempted an impersonation of Sandy's Scottish twang: "'Hello, my name is Sandy' - oh no, that was Irish." By 7am, Alex had created a jumper and kilt for his puppet, but he still wasn't happy. "Oh his legs are f*****g wonky!" Alex cried in disbelief. The model decided to have a quick break and wandered outside to the chicken coop, where he began doing chicken impressions. "Don't be scared Scabby, it's Cold Boy," he muttered. Finally, after almost five hours out of bed, Alex relented and crept back to sleep in the poor bedroom. Let's just hope Big Brother appreciates his sewing skills when the puppet show is judged on Thursday, or Alex might be driven to more than just strange chicken chat... |

Anyway This is'nt a thread for discussing if you like or dislike Alex it was created to tell any fans of alex that the result of Fridays eviction could be the decider in Alex's fate in the house. In my opinion anyway!

Alex is still my favourite ...
I am still with Alex. I like the fact that even knowing that some of his attitudes will not gain him favour he is true to himself and goes about it. Some comments about him not being able to laugh about himself aren't true as we have seen him being selfdeprecating in many occasions.
Johny honesty can always being questioned in the light of him wanting to be liked. He can not accept that some people might not like him. HIs level of acceptance of criticism is therefore null. |
