S0rry but Blackpool only runs twice a year May and Oct/Nov and I have posted those results up above Darren beat Brendan any other professional on here will tell you Blackpool Never holds comps any other time

Absolutely right! I didn'[t want to keep contradicting someone, but as I have support, blackpool runs competitions twice a year, and not in September. I too have no recollection of Brendan and Camilla beating Darren and Lilia, Thanks for your support bendymixer!

Try Dancesportinfo - they have all the semi finalists listed together, so I really don't think this indicates how many dances they reached in the semi finals.

However - I know that Darren and Lilia only reached the semis in Samba, and I think Brendan and Camilla qualified in all five dances. Not necessarily 'beating' them in any way, but it's certainly a better result.

Just thought that I'd make it clear that I'm referring to Blackpool in May 2003 here!

Obviously i dont have a clue! lol! but doing well in all the dances is def a big acheivement!

Try here , it compares Lilia and Darren's results with Brendan and Camilla's. I think B/C only beat them early on in Lilia and Darren's pro career when I think they were also dancing rising star.

I love Camilla and Darren & Lilia. I love the pros! I'm voting for them more than the celebs!! I love their dances on the results show, It's great that all the professionals are back each week even is they've been knocked out the comp.

I find it a bit odd that Brendan & Camilla competed for England even though neithr of them are british. I know they lived here and everything, but I'm guressing Andrew & Hanna do too and they dance for Finland.

That reminds me, love Hanna too!!! Found some well scary pictures of her yesterday though!!

becca |I posted the full results on page 3 and Dareen and Lilia beat brendan in the October 2003 comp and as you say bendan and darren only made semis in the 2003 as neither reached the final is not really technically a win over them after that comp Darren and Lilia have not been beaten by Brendan

Ys bewest I love debate, my brother who is a dance teacher too and I have widely different views over the show so we do have good discussions on it - with my sister and mum and dad all teachers too as you can imagine it is no 1 on most of our sat viewing lists!!!

through Brendans Parents or Grandparents he can elect to dance for England

on the rankings that have been posted Paul Kilick is up there in the top dancers, he was on last years show but got knocked out early. he wasn't that much of a personality but has he not come back because he was knocked out early and they only get the people back that make it so far in the show to introduce new people each year or because he didn't want to? just a thought i had lol

Paul and Hanna they really made the first series for me.

Hanna (K that is, although Hanna H is adorable!) was amazing. Favourite moments of the whole of series 1 was her and Paul's Samba, and her freestyle to What a Feeling with Victor da Silva. She's a fantastic dancer, pity she got paired with the useless Chris. And it's a shame she didn't come back int he 2nd series.

I agree with you completely! If only she had come back for another series, she is by far the best Latin lady I have ever seen. I love her to bits, she is such a nice person as well! How she always used to stick up for Chris when the judges put him down . . . aww! I miss her.

Wonder why some of the pros didnt come back from the first series!!??

I agree neddy. Anton does look really good at what he does. It is nice to hear what other dance people think though.

It takes more than dance ability to last as a professional on SCD, this was proved when Mathew and Andrew went out so early last year, they didn't show their personality. Or didn't have a chance to. Whereas Anton did, like him or hate him, he's never boring!

I didn't realise that the professional's dance ability even came into it, I thought everybody voted on personalities.

on a dance show its a great pity that dance ability is not the main criteria for this years show I hope it is in vincent and flavia we have a couple that competes at BOTH latin and ballroom - so Anton wont be Mr Ballroom expert anymore

Camilla- Have liked her throughout all SCD
Hanna H- Just so sweet and lovely
Karen- Same

Male:
Brendan= have liked majority of the time
Anton- Same
Andrew- obviously shame he's not coming back.

Having said that, there's not anyone I really detest.

Favourite Girls:

1. Karen, just purely because I like everything about her.
2. Lilia, because she rocks.
3. Camilla is sweeeet.
4. Hanna H, shame she's not coming back.

Favourite Boys:

1. Brendan, awwwww.
2. Darren.
3. Andrew, shame he's not coming back.
4. Anton.

I wouldn't call it hate, quite, but I don't like Erin & Izabela.

Purely on personality I would have to go with Anton and Nicole being my favs. I too am not a big fan of Erin.
