Finally got one on wednesday... SO simple my wife thinks it's the best thing ever! which is unusual for an electonics purchase. She's also recoreded more stuff than she ever managed on the VCR!!!

Anyway Comet seem to get stock in, in small quantities (2 at a time).

Has anyone received a delivery from Hughes Direct this week? My order went in last Friday, hoping their no-stock situation would change soon! I guess they might give priority to their stores, especially as they can achieve higher prices there while stocks generally are scarce.

We've got one on order at Hughes Direct - website says they should be in stock today - hopefully that means we'll get delivery early next week

Comet don't even seem to have the 9200 on the website anymore. Strange when it is in their printed catalogue

I ordered one from Turbosat online on 2rd. November and it was delivered yesterday. Working well right now. Only small problem I'm having is after pressing Red Button to get interactive, pages load and then say press Select to load the interactive program. The remote doesn't have a Select button it is replaced by an OK button which works in all other situations but, so far, I've had no joy with this aspect. It is by far the best gateway to Digital Freeview that I've used so far.

Comet seem to add and remove it from their website when they have and haven't got stock.

You're quite right, Comet only display items on their website that they currently have in stock in their warehouses.

A couple of hours ago, I rang the main Comet sales number, asked if Hendon branch had any and was told they had 3. Walked in bought it, already setup and very pleased so far. Nice and responsive - It seems a good replacement for my old Sky+ box.

They still have two left...

Does anyone know where has stock. Comet do not appear to have any coming in for a bit. The only place i can see that has any is EmpireDirect - i am a bit reluctant to go mail order (what do people think of them)

Any information about the length of warranties being offered?

John Lewis offer 2yrs on all their electrical items, although not much use if they haven't got any stock.

I am assuming the Humax warranty is just 12mths?

John Lewis will take a phone order - they are in the London Warehouse - I ordered mine this morning from the Glasgow branch who expect to get the stock on Wenesday and will then deliver it FOC.

Finally tracked one down. EmpireDirect have them in stock - i have just had an email today to confirm delivery on Wednesday, cannot wait. Plus my parents can have their cheep (free) freeview box back for them to watch channel 5. I cannot wait to try the box out.

Thankyou to all on the forums - the advice and info has really helped my decision. I will let you all know how i get on
