Question about the free vodafone sim packs i received today,

I received 2 lots at my house and another 2 lots atmy mothers house today what i need to know are these sim packs automaticly registered under the name and address you received them at or do you have to register them when you active them i need to know this before i give them out to people any one know thanks

I got some too, i always open one to see if there is anything like that, but they seem like the ones they send out to the shops.

I dont think you have to register it, but making your first call will activate the sim.

No they aren't automatically registered & you don't have to register them, though if whoever you give them to does register them they will get an extra £1 of credit and also be able to top up online.

ok thanks so if i give one to a mate he can register under his address also is there away of telling what the telephone number is before putting the sim in your phone or does vodafone issue the number when the sim is first swiched on in the phone

When the sim is in the phone, you call *#100# and then number will be sent to you. (by text i think)

They look much better than the O2 and Virgin ones.

They do, I like these new style Vodafone ones - glad they eventually got round to updating them, the info in the old ones was so out of date it was embarassing.

i think they come with free credit up to £3

I think you get £2 free credit when you activate the SIM and a further £1 if you register online
