Awww Will on ITT was great! And yeah School of Rock, Martina looked sooooooooooo lovely! She really is such a great person! I had the same expression on my face as Martina when Claudia was thanking the guests and she called Martina, Martini! lmao! I think we all know what Claudia does straight after ITT eh! lol!

Julia M: And they say that we learn something every day.....Yeah I couldn't help but burst out laughing when claudia called Martina Martini.....!
Geeny: It's not Will's fault that he can't pronounce Vienniese...It's like I can't pronounce phenomenal...it's just something that happens..... |

I voted for him three times. I was so scared, I really thought he was going to go, but yay! he survived! I really think the judges consistantly undermark him, they seem to have decided he isn't one of the favoured few and mark him accordingly. Well, I'll keep voting for him (as long as he isn't the worst).

I felt sorry for Will last night. Apart from James (how Craig gave him 5 beggars belief) the other VWs were poor but Will was at least no worse than Bill and arguably better, and not far behind Darren. I was certain he would go, as Dennis has his fan base and the female celebrities have the added advantage of their male professionals having their own fans. He is better than Bill but I think he will go next week.

I thought Zoe, Colin and Will were streets in front of the other celebs last night, yet Will was in the bottom two
He just can't go out before the likes of James or Bill.

I thought the judges were too harsh on Will last night - he deserved a higher score than Dennis.

I find Will's earnest-ness very endearing .... his relief at just finishing the dance was palpable.
I love watching him in training because he always looks so frightened - like a rabbit in headlights sometimes .. it's very sweet. I'm so glad he didn't go out, I think SCD has amply demonstrated that most people can't be superb at everything, but last week Will proved he is a great dancer and I'm really pleased he can continue |

Pheeee-ew!
I really thought that Will and Hanna were out last night. Will was criticised too harshly (normally I agree with everything Craig says, but not in this case) and I think it was clear to all concerned that Denis deserved to go, but I still thought that he might survive. Far more many viewers know who Denis is and vote for him because he's "good old Denis Taylor". I'm glad that people voted on merit instead - it's the way it should be. Justice was done. I'm not special fan of Will's (trying to be impartial every week, though I must confess that Patsy does annoy me...), but he absolutely did not deserve to go. Will and Hanna's poor nerves must be taking a beating with all these near-misses... |

Never heard of Will before SCD as I don't watch his show but have completely warmed to him and his partnership with fiesty Hanna. I agree it seemed like he was harshly judged and undermarked on Sat for the VW. He comes across as a genuinely nice, earnest, modest, hardworking guy and he has improved buckets since week 1.

Agree - it just seemed very silly for Will to be scored the same as Dennis, who was really looking more and more like someone's Dad at a wedding put in SCD by mistake!
Anyone know what Will is dancing next week? |

I just wanted to clear a few things up about Will. He's not gay, he is married and they have a beautiful small boy.
Just because he's been put in the bottom two some weeks doesn't mean he has actually had the least numbers of votes along with the other pair. The producers place the second (safe) couple there to create tension. People naturally assume it's going to be the lesser known 'celebrity' that will be booted off so putting Will next to someone like Gloria or Dennis creates that surprise that they are looking for. Will, like all the others, works extremely hard and he's been doing so well - he's always kept going until he's got it right and I hope he makes the final 4 at least! |

The bottom two are there because they got the least points (Judges position + Viewers votes position). So Will was there cos he and Dennis had the least of all 8 couples, so because Dennis was knocked out, he was 8th overall and Will was 7th. To have not been in the bottom 2 he would have had to beat Patsy's viewer votes by 1 place (as then their total scores would have been even, and then she would have been stood there instead as she had fewer viewer votes) |

The other couples are saved in no particular order I can assure you. I'm only passing on my insider knowledge

As you say monkeey the couples are not supposed to be in any particular order and Tess or Bruce even says this at some point in the show but then the last two standing keep being referred to as 'the bottom two'. Strangely I think Tess made some comment on Sat just gone about both Dennis and Will having the lowest overall scores so
But as I understand it, the couples are called out in no particular order, except to create the tension, apart from the last couple. |

I don't expect he will win, but I do hope every Saturday that he pulls it out of the bag. I sit on tenterhooks waiting for his performance, maybe it's because the other performances have become predictable. G'wan Will with your perfectionism, surely by the end you'll be giving Anton a run for his money
