Please, thankyou.

His worst performance so far, everyone knows he can't sing very well and tonight he was shown up for an even worse singer than I previously thought, but tonight his overall performance was also shocking and not entertaining in the slightest, he didn't seem as buoyant on stage and looked like he realised he really shouldn't be there.

Even the dancing girls couldn't disguise the fact that he is just rubbish.

I'm willing to like him if I Like the song and there's still some life in it after he's strangled it, but tonight the song died.

I started to like him last week, but I am bored of him now! How fickle am I?

I just get the feeling he should be asking me for a tip rather than a vote.

It is time for him to go, he's doing nothing new, no more surprises, just more of the same, and it's not that good.

If this is a serious comment, all it proves is that the bar has been lowered beyond belief. His performance was not "amazing" at all. It was lacklustre at best. If that singing wasn't too bad, then ALL the singers in my local karaoke bar should be singing to ecstatic crowds at Wembley (err...when it's rebuilt)

chicos on borrowed time in this competition. Hes one lucky bugger.

During Chico's performance, there were five people on that stage. Chico was the fifth best singer there.

Even though I really cannot stand him, Phillips performance was just weird to watch and I'm not too disappointed with Simon's decision

Given what Simons opinion of Chico has been in the past, I can't quite believe he kept him in. Even comparing the 2 performances tonight, Phillips wasn't great but was far better than Chicos. Even his reasoning was bizzare "it's what the public wants"........is that why he keeps landing in the bottom 2 then (and probably 3rd bottom last week)?

The only reason I can think why he kept him in is because Chico generates more tabloid nonsense than Phillip which creates more interest in the show which in turn I suppose is better for money in his back pocket.

Is anyone else like really really sick of and finding this whole "it's Chico time" thing cheesier than a packet of Wotsits?

Bloody way past Chico's time to go home, that's for sure.

Definitely. Also, if I was one of the other contestants, I'd be well hacked off by the special attention that he gets. Chico gets his own catchphrase and is talked up by everyone, while everyone else gets slagged off - not fair IMO.

Chico gets a lot of stick too, remember the papers 2 weeks ago, but he takes it like a man and keeps entertaining

I hate Chico's performances they grate on me and his corny strip routine every week. But I have come to the conclusion he is kept in every week by the judges and certain voters because he adds a laughability factor. I hope he realises he's actually a joke with no talent.

Despite Simon's comment, the public don't like him and vote him out nearly every week - his "time" will soon be up. The judges cannot keep him in if he's up against Shayne, Brenda, Andy, Maria or Journey South. Else everything they've said so far will be a lie.

I still think who's place did he take and how well would they have done? I still feel cheated.

The only positive thing I can say for Chump Chico is he comes across like a nice guy and he knows he's on borrowed time. But he is in the competition and has to perform so that is not his fault.

But no I will never vote for him. For the basic fact he cannot sing.

Loved the dancing girls but Chico's performance was just that, a performance with not a lot of singing charisma.

I don't even see this 'nice guy' stuff. He has no talent whatsoever, his act is embarrassing, and he is just a complete prat. WHY is he still there?

Chico 'gets special attention' as you put it simply because he isn't as ordinary and bland as the bulk of the contestants on the show.

Overall the contestants on the show are just another version of people that have appeared on similar shows before. I doubt that even the eventual winner, whoever they turn out to be, will last too long as a selling artist. It's just conveyor belt singers.

And that's just about all the programme makers care about, they aren't looking for a super talent.......or if they are they sure haven't found it amongst the selection they have. All they are interested in is mugging people for money with revenue they get from the voting. Gaining more money from the X-Factor tour. Let the record company earn a bit more for a short while from the music sales of a limited 'career' and that's about the size of it.

I'm very glad Chico is on the show, I sure as hell wouldn't bother to watch it if he wasn't.

I'm waiting for him to do that 'splits' thing one more time and fail to get back up again. If it happens next Saturday then it will have been worth keeping him in!
