Classic description, that's exactly what it was like

Agree wholeheartedly. I just had a feeling Fiona would stay again though.

I was really surprised to see him in the last two. Glad he got through because you can see he's improving. Fiona just clomps around and pulls stupid faces.

Unfortunately that's part of the show I suppose but I do agree.

“the likes of Arlene already have preconceived ideas and will vote according to who they like, not on ability!

No way was Dennis and Gloria better than Bill last night - yet Arlene gave them higher marks!

Arlenes behaviour generally last night was appalling - she is so determined to be the bitch, but she fails miserably and looks pathetically biased!”

I can't bear her. She looks like someone's holding a piece of poo under her nose and some of her comments were totally unnecessary. I rememeber she annoyed me last year too. I know Craig thingy-watsit's supposed to be the Simon Cowell of the show but at least his criticism is fair. As you say, Arlene just seems to be trying to be bitchy so, in my eyes, any valid criticism she might come out with just gets lost in the vitriol.

It's worrying that Fiona wasn't in the bottom two this week. We could shortly have a situation where someone who is a lot better, like Bill or Dennis, gets the boot instead of her.

I can't stand Fiona on gmtv, but I simply feel sorry for her on SCD. It's embarrassing watching the poor graceless woman clodhopping around week after week. It is also painful to see how Brendan has been treating her, can't be doing much to improve her confidence.”

Agree 99% I don't really feel sorry for Fiona I have to say...)

But I do worry that Fiona will knock out Will, or Dennis or Bill, and that just would not be fair I'm afraid as they should all have sympathy votes too, and are improving week by week.

I did wonder whether the judges were overly harsh towards some of the other couples last night in the hope the Fiona wouldn't get the sympathy votes.

Shame it didn't work if that was the case.

lol, well I have surprised myself at feeling sorry for Fiona to be honest, as I was initially hoping she would fall on her @rse - but she is just sooooo bad it's not even funny, and I feel sorry for anyone lumbering with grumpy Brendan.

I think she is milking the sympathy vote thing by emphasising how cr*p she is - "poor little me". It just makes me want to yell "pull yourself together!" If she stays in it next week at the expense of someone better yet again, I shall certainly won't be feeling sorry for her any longer.

Was interested in Mrs Harman's post about Fiona's husband and sh8gger Brendan....

Thanks Mrs Harman.
Fiona is a bit of a blabbermouth ... my sympathy for her is really ebbing away However whatever chemistry there was between her and Brendan, it has certainly disappeared!

My Mum thinks that this is because her husband Martin Frizell said to her she should do SCD as long as she didn't "get shagger Brendan" she has said as much in interviews. We think she falls to pieces on the night because Frizell is in the audience watching her with his beady eyes for any sign of a recurrence of the Kaplinsky saga and it makes her self conscious. She feels like she can't look like she enjoys it therefore there is no joie de vivre in her dancing.

No i've not voted for her (Go Anton! Go Bill!) but I think Arlene's suggestion of Paul McKenna is possibly a good one because I think its her psyche thats stopping her.

Also while Gloria and Darren didn't deserve to go, I'm not particularly sorry they have their performance kind of made me think of the favourite gay son dancing with his pissed elderly mum at a wedding.

Not very supportive for a husband - if he were mine I'd tell him to stay home - simple as

Bill wasn't just upset.. he looked devastated. And yes, I cried.

He didn't, and although I'm not a particular fan of Bill, at least I could see that it matters to him - it's no use Fiona bleating on other occasions - out of respect for Brendan she could at least try to look bothered!

It does seem that since the weekend we have about 3 threads going on this forum which are devoted to "Fiona should be voted off" or "we don't like Fiona because...".

The topic is fair enough but do we need to have so many threads talking about the same thing as well as people posting words to the same effect in other threads?

I understand this is a big issue in the world of SCD so it should be discussed here but perhaps I could direct some of you to the Fiona Phillips thread in the entertainment forums?
