I really wish Sharon Osbourne (luv ya) would STICK to the task in hand... give a true professional opinion on the performance... instead of wittering on, about previous days expoits, etc... "your luvvly" tripe... "bless yah" bollocks...

she's a manager and knows what she should be doing... it's not a ruddy beauty pagant...

I like Sharon, but evey week she gets worse.... she should maybe consider "phoning in sick" and letting Kelly Osbourne take the panel....

yeahhhhhhhhhhh

I thought that the show is meant to be for family viewing.
I am certainly no prude but Sharon's comments are unbelievebly inappropriate and I feel really uncomfortable.
I cannot believe that Louis hasn't advised Shayne not to react however Louis&Shayne come across sometimes to be as thick as pig shit!
T.V bosses should advise her not to make such comments.
Very unprofessional,I can imagine many parents struggling to explain what Sharon meant

And for the record I doubt what she talked about smells good.

Sharon has always been an inappropriate judge. She has never revealed any musical insight during her time on the X Factor. Louis and Simon don't impress me either though. They may as well have Sooty, Sweep and Sue on the judging panel, as they are only there for "entertainment" purposes- not to give a valuable critique of the performances.

"Fabulous", "I think you could be a real start, I really do", " the best act of the night so far" is all you ever get from these 3.

lol!!

And to be fair...okay, so this may be taking things a bit too seriously, but honestly, can you even imagine either Louis or Simon being foolish enough to proposition a female contestant with 'well I have something for you...it's long...hard...and tastes mighty good'

Exactly, it would never happen! Not only that, but they would get alot more of a reaction that an exasperated sigh from the other two judges, that's for sure.

That's the difference between Saron & the other two, she really has no idea what things are & aren't appropriate to say on a 'family' show - in the last series, wasn't she talking about being so excited that she felt like wetting herself, and thus being glad she was wearing a pantyliner??

Sweep is a big favourite of mine. I think Simon should consider having him as judge on the next series. At least Sweep talks a lot of sense, well he does in our household, especially when it comes to football teams.[sorry I digress.]

Sharon's comments annoy me as well. She's about the same age as me, and while I wouldn't find it quite so offensive for a young woman to flirt publicly in that way with a 20-year-old bloke, I don't think it's appropriate for Sharon to do so. She might fancy Shane (I think he's very nice myself!), but it looks really sad for her to be talking dirty in this way. The plastic surgery's done a great job, but when you get down to it, she's still 53 years old!

I couldn't believe she was saying what she was saying - I though there was going to be a punchline like she got out a vanilla scented chocolate bar or something!

As a similar aged woman I really think it was inappropriate in the sense of being quite an abuse of power - how is a younger person meant to deal with such a blatantly sexual remark from someone who has power over them, at any time, let alone on TV in the middle of a talent contest the person is judging?

A bit of admiration and flirting is one thing but a description of someone's 'kebab' is a bit difficult to deal with at any point I would have thought. And as someone has said if you reversed the gender of the judge it would just be unacceptable.

I love Sazza, I really do and I'm no prude, but I must admit, I even thought she was a bit much last night.

But she is sooo wonderful, she gets away with it so well. Bless.

Love her too but I was a little taken back last night. She would probably eat Shayne alive as well. Sharon reminded me a little of Paula Abdul last night with some of her actions.

So what is it exactly that makes Sharon a great judge?
I am not being rude, just curious, honest.

I personally think she's the worst one there: she is far too emotional with her decisions, wants to be seen as 'nice' and so everyone is 'Fabulous, darling!', and I find the way she pairs up with Louis against Simon to be extremely childish and dishonest.

To be truthful, I find it extremely difficult to take her and her opinions seriously at all.

Are you blind as well as deaf???

The point I am making, is.....

Sharon Osbourne is SUPPOSED to be judging the singing ability of wach performer.....

Up until now, she has not done so.... instead she comments on... clothes, hair, makeup??????

In fact anything BUT the music ability.....

and incidentally, the shows not supposed to be about the judges..... it's supposed to about the performers... so claiming she is the best judge by far, just brings home the point really.....

She does steer away from constructive comments - so does Louis. Simon is the only one who is honest-ish. I think he was at it over the Chico/Philip thing, though.

Sorry to disagree but I think the show is ALL about the judges. The acts are merely 'bit players'.

I would agree here. I like Sharon but I was disappointed with her when she chose Chico for one reason only - the fact he fancied her boosted her ego.

Now every week she constantly comments with her heart regarding Shayne. I say heart but I think it's further south.

It does make her look silly. She's a strong woman and should be commenting on their musical performance. Sexiness is a strong part of performance yes but her attitude to Shayne is obvious what she wants to do. She could say it better and keep it clean. She was embarrassing last night. Made me cringe.

Yes if Louis or Simon said something so crude they'd be attacked. They need to keep it professional.

Very, very good point. It would be considered sexual harrassment.

Someone is going to now say that's it's all ok, cause Shayne looked like he was enjoying it.

Exactly my point too - it would NEVER happen & would never be dealt with so casually either - and quite rightly too
