I LOVE this part of the results show.

Jive last week and Paso this week - strictly marvellous.
Really inventive way of presenting the Paso Doble too and involving and showing off lots of dancers and not just one couple.

How fantastic was it when the men all started arriving wearing the same thing with their bullfighter's capes?

Great to see Matthew Cutler and Andrew Cuerden there too and it is nice to know that even if peeps are eliminated we will be able to see them show off each week.

It also really helps us non-dancers to see the essence of the dance so we can get more out of the following week.

Matthew was amazing with his cloak, I'm really sorry he went out so early. I thought him and Siobahn deserved more of a chance. The Paso was great, I just wish Karen (much as I love her) would stop doing those faces - she looks like she's chewing a bee. It was really good to see how the Paso should be done, all too often the celebrity versions leave you wondering what a Paso is supposed to look like.

I was well impressed with Andrew and his performance, it's a shame he was knocked out so early too.

I'm off to bed now but I'm going to watch that Paso again on tape before sleepytime. Night all, I'm hoping for sweet latin dancing dreams xx

The professional dancers on the results show are amaaaaaazing. I'm in awe watching them. I'm so glad they included this. The Paso today was so creative.

I love the Paso and the one tonight was excellent! I love the way it was choreographed and it was good to see some of the eliminated dancers

It was the highlight of the series for me, last night's Paso - I've already watched it back about four more times. Fantastic!

Having the professional dance is a great idea for this series, I'm sure they didn't have this element last year, did they?

I wish they would put clips of the professionals dancing on the BBC website like they do with all the other dances - it's the best bit imo

I agree, last nights paso was brilliant. This bit of the show is too short, need a prog with the pro's doing all the dances. Wake up BBC and bring back 'Come Dancing' with all these pro's.

I missed it as I was rushing to try see all the x factor acts on the tape before the results who. I hate having to rush either show...blooming annoying them having it on at the same time.

I adored the jive the other week....shame he's gone now.

Sorry Boho, but watching the other tripe, you've only yourself to blame

Oh Bohochick it was sooo fantastical! I'm hoping that at the end of the series they'll rerun the show dances or at least ask us to vote for our favourite

I had it on in the background, but my friend kept talking to me, and I wasn't too bothered because I thought I was taping it. Then I realised I hadn't switched the recording back on.

Oh you poor thing. I'm scared one day SCD won't tape. I would cry. WHY DON'T BBC SHOW REPEATS?!?!?. GRRRRRR!

Do you know, it never ocurred to me to tape it before? I think I have a mental problem.

I have last year's final taped, but only because I was out that night. I taped last night's for my mother, and then realised it would be worth taping to keep for myself. And then kicked myself for not taping previous weeks.

*cries*

I want to see Bill's hat routine again.

I can't stand the professionals.

Everything they do is too forced.

Me too - I loved Karen's "move" everyone knows which bit - her facial expression was hilarious too! Love ya Karen!

I think that depends who you watch. I think I know what you mean. I myself dislike too much facial expression and some do seem to go full-out particularly in the Latin dances. I much prefer a natural look.
Natasha & Brendan (I know Natasha's not professional but they were natural together)

It's not just the facial expression that I think is too forced: it's everything. The way they dress, the way they move -- none of it seems natural or relaxed; everything's pushed rather than allowed to flow. (Perhaps too many of their controls have been turned up to 11. )

Yes; and I like all of the professionals better when they're partnered with one of the celebs.

ooo no i disagree i love the professional dancers when u can really see what they can do in a mass of whirling colours and limbs **insane grin**

They're really helpful too because i've never seen the paso or the samba performed properly so i had nothing to compare it to, but now i have
