Cliches
Since the advent of shows such as The X Factor, Pop Idol, Fame Academy, etc., what cliches and catchphrases have been created.
Here's a few I've noticed: "You made that song your own." "You owned the stage tonight." "The camera loves you." and of course, the one that is becoming a classic of this series of The X Factor ... "He didn't deserve to go tonight." Others? |

Soon they're gonna start using that on the first act. |

Judge to contestant ... if you come back next week I would like to see you (dance more/not dance so much/a slow ballad/a rockier number - deletate as appropriate!)
What the judge means .. voting audience do us all a favour and let us send this one home!

'That was a very brave performance
Normally said by a judge when their act gives a poor performance. 'Im astounded!' Normally said by Simon at the auditions, when he wants to make the auditionees sweat a bit. Because it could mean either very good or very bad, normally bad though. Thats 'Honest' Simon of course

"you absolutely deserve to be here"
"I'm so pleased I put you through" "I really want to be here" *yawn* but my pet hate of everything isnt actually words... its that thing the contestants do when Kate is sending them off stage.. where they make a shape of a phone with their hand and hold it to their ear and gurn into the camera. Sad and desperate. |

It's my destiny!
I was born to sing! I live for singing! I just want to Entertain people. (All said by totally talentless people who can't sing) ALSO: "That was very: Karaoke/ Cruse Ship/ Holiday Camp" |

Most annoying one (mostly from Louis, no surprise there) is "But he/she/they really want it."
Because that's what it's all about isn't it? If everyone who really wanted a number 1 record got a number 1 record, we'd have to have 10 number 1s every week.

ALSO MUCH OVER-USED (every 5.2 seconds) FROM LOUIS:
They/he/she is an IRISH band/act form IRELAND! I love differences in all people, but if you keep sticking that difference up my rear end 24/7, it becomes more than a tad anoying!
