Darren Gough.....You are a Dancing Star!!

Never been a fan of cricket and after seeing Darren the first week, he was ok, but I thought he wasn't going to take it seriously or get into it!!!

My god, was I wrong!!!! He's training so hard, you can see he loves dancing...he doesn't care anymore what anyone (especially his mates) think...he just wants to do himself and Lilia pround.

His tango was fantastic...should have beat Patsy, due to the fact he had to lead and she didn't (although I think Patsy did great too!!).

Go Darren - I think you are definately going to be the dark horse of this show!!!

Completely agree, although I'm sticking with Zoe and Ian (plus his lovely chest ) as my favourites, if they don't win I'd love Lilia and Darren to win it. Darren's turning into a complete dancing star and obviously working so hard, and Lilia has proved again she's a brilliant teacher, first with Aled - who didn't even dance at his own wedding and was robbed not getting to the final, and now with Darren, not a man who looks built to dance, but was fantastic in the Tango last night, much as I did like Patsy and Anton's dance, I though Darren and Lilia had the edge.

I was totally entranced by Darren and Lilia's tango last night .. quite apart from the elegant choreography, they really managed to give the impression that they had more than a 'spark' of passion smouldering between them!
Having said that, and acknowledging that my current faves Zoe and Ian also gave a very polished and creditable performance despite having little practice time, during my long 'lurk' on the forum I've found it very difficult to understand all of the 'Patsy love' here. I totally understand the 'Anton love' - the man is marvellous and such an accomplished dancer he could probably make a broom look elegant .. which is precisely what he seems to have pulled off with Ms 'Wooden'.

i would like to see a male contestant win it this year, and im backing darren to do it, even though he will probably face stiff competition from colin. The standard of men i think is the highest its ever been this year especially when you take into account they lead.

go darrrrrrrren!

Darren has done well so far wonder how he will fair though with some of the dances coming up - its not beyond the realms of possibility for it to be an all male celeb final

it does seem that all the men are strong this year, with three outstanding ones (darren, james and colin)

and i agree that goughie was the best last night, thought patsy and zoe were good but darren and james were the best two.

i didn't think james looked like a murderer at all either - the two yorksmen were VERY sexy, in different ways

Goughie was the star of the show, celebrity-wise, last night (for me). He is developing a graceful side that I certainly never suspected him of possessing while following his brilliant cricketing career. With his competitive instincts, he has a chance of going a long way in this series .....

Darren and Lilia were fantastic last night! He's getting better every week, Lilia is such a great dancer and teacher and her choreography is brilliant.

The fact that from the rehersal footage we get to see how much they're enjoying dancing together and how funny and full of personality they both are just makes me support them even more.

For sure .. and for once is the guy celebs who seem to be having the most fun - all 6 really seem to be getting better each week.

Just as a by the by for the judges, anyone who has had the pleasure of seeing the Gorgeous Goughie playing cricket will know that he has always been light on his feet - especially when running in to bowl! Add that to the co-ordination needed for his day job and it's not such a suprise that he's turning out to be mighty fine!

Yes, Darren Gough can go all the way. He and Colin Jackson are outstanding amongst the male celebrities. Colin has an added advantage that he is naturally built for dancing, and both of them have the advantage that they are used to being coached as part of their sporting professions.

Of all of them, Darren has shown the most improvement and the greatest commitment. Perhaps James needs to take things a bit more seriously if he is to improve further.

I just hope that they are not kicked off by the misplaced sympathy for the no-hopers we are seeing when Fiona 'dances' each week. I feel really sorry for Brendan and wonder if he wishes his ordeal would end.
