He is annoying, and his little tap dances and jokes are cringe-worthy, but I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't in stiches with the Bill and Karen bit with him getting in a flap and calling the director an idiot.

However, he most definately should not be talking over the judges with jokes, only if he has to hurry them for time.

Someone said Bruce was 'self effacing'- is that a joke?
He really does embarrass us with his poor jokes, which he repeats..and repeats.. if everyone pretends they haven't heard.
We record and speed him along - as well as the voting which is silly.
But we love the dancing!Even when it isn't the very best,it's probably better than anyone in our house could do.

*bangs head repeatedly against desk*

I just remain thankful for two things:

1) You lot don't run the show
2) I don't have to sit and watch it with you petty, miserable moaners

....cos either way Strictly Come Dancing would be no fun whatsoever.

I felt uncomfortably embarrassed watching him on Saturday night .At one point he repeated what he thought was a really funny punchline at least three times to get a reaction .

I appreciate they need to give the couples time to get backstage to Tess, but instead of Bruce's inane comments and ridiculous attempts at humour, could we not have more input from the judges - ie, Bruce could send the couple off and whilst they are getting themselves backstage he could ask a judge to elaborate more on their comments for the benefit of the audience - especially now that there are fewer couples and there is more time available.

The bit in the results show where the judges sum up who was most improved etc etc is excellent but again it's too short and there is far too much of Bruce wittering on, I'd rather hear more from the judges or have Tess do an interview with a friend/family member of whomever came bottom that week - anything but more Bruce please!

A longer show dance would be good too.
