It's the year of the men and either Darren or James will win. Both of these celebs deserve to as they come from very different backgrounds, have no previous dance or acting/stage experience and are a credit to what this show is all about.
They are both committed, diligent and enjoying it and their confidence is growing by the week. They both danced a fab Tango last night and I must say that I preferred James and Camilla's version to Darren and Lilia's. It was great choreography and a little sinister in places which made it a real treat opposed to the safe basic. At this moment in time I can't choose between the two but my bet is that one of them will take the crown and will thoroughly deserve it.
On a lower note though, it's time the public accepted that Fiona can't dance (or won't dance) I haven't quite made up my mind about that. Don't waste precious votes on keeping her in the competition as she is NOT trying (despite what she says). If she was she would be able to at least put in a couple of basic steps instead of just muddling through by clinging to poor Brendan. That guy is a fabulous dancer and despite his fiery temprement, he could do without having been partnered with 2 bags of Spanners in a row!!!! I don't wish to be mean as it takes alot of guts to get up in front of people and dance, and it's not easy. As an ex Latin & Ballroom Dancer myself, I know how hard it is, but you can tell the celebs who are trying and those who are not. You don't have to have the best technique in the world as long as you can show that you have the basics but sadly with Fiona she isn't even showing that.
Congrats to the BBC for another truly brilliant series. Perhaps though next year Brucie could be replaced? His poor attempts at jokes, talking over everyone and trying to steal the limelight with the same shuffle step every week is begining to grate!!! Brucie was good in his day but it's now time to hand over the reigns.
