Come on, I want to see some bets.
I like having the pair in the competition... backstage tantrums, Brendan squirming - what more could you want?

She needs to go!!! Not interested, pretends she's trying, can't/won't dance.
It's not fair on the other celebs who are making an effort.

Should have gone week 1, we now don't get the chance to see what Matthew Cutler can do, and he looks superb in last nights show dance, and miss out on a potentially very interesting relationship developing between Jaye and Zorro. Decent, improving dancers are going to start going while she stays in if things don't change. I'm really worried we'll loose Will next week, he doesn't have the fan base of Fiona and anything other than very high score puts him in danger.

Since when did this become criteria for the great British Public to keep voting through the worst celebrity dancer of all time?????

Fiona Phillips has got to go. It's nothing personal but all she ever does is roll her eyes, whine and cry!! Either that or she has a satanic smile fixed across her face which detracts from her dance steps (or rather, LACK of them).

Come on Britain.....Use your votes correctly and put through those who deserve to be there!!

Whilst I see your point, I've got to admit that I'm feeling more sorry for Fiona the longer the public keep her in...it seems like a cruel and unusual kind of punishment. It's a bit like Chris Parker in the first series, but I don't think it will go that far this time around.

I agree she shouldn't be there, but as soon as she comes up against some of the more popular couples I don't think she will be...

People i voting to keep Brendon in. The sooner Fiona (i will play the sympathy card) Phillips catches on the better. I cannot take another week of her manic eye rolling, hand wringing, desperado antics. She is not fragile, or soft or vulnerable. She works in the business for goodness sake. She worked in America for four years doing the gmtv roving reporter spot and you cannot be a shrinking violet out there. Fiona sucks. She cannot dance to save her life. She is wooden and sexless. She has got to go. Nooone is voting on her dance ability its because they want to keep Brendon in. Its not fair to other dancers in the comp.

And if he can dance, he will stay. Just like all the rest. I personally don't belive that Fiona is in there just because she has a high fan base, people can see she is trying and they want to give her a chance, just like they do Will.

She was embarassingly bad last night - she may be trying but she was at least half a beat behind throughout the dance and looked like she was going to fall over.

Let her go and save us from more of Brendan's posturings!

Got to agree with this. Can't help but wonder why she agreed to appear in the show at all when she confesses she's never been one to dance at social events. Seems a bit daft to choose a show on TV watched by millions to make a complete berk of yourself.

I agree people are voting to keep Brendan in. I also think Kelpy's probably right in that some people are voting just to keep her in and see her squirm.

Personally, I haven't been able to watch her on GMTV for ages and don't feel sorry for her - as I said, why choose to appear in the show. She hardly needs the exposure.

I'd be more than happy to see her go next week. She should have gone the first week.

I have given up waiting for her to go and the more I read the threads have come to think most people dont vote for best dancer but for who they fancy this much more than last year.

SCD if its going to run next year as well should change all professionals and give it a 'fresh feel' and stop the 'clique' that has developed

Unfortunately, Fiona's 'Poor little me' approach may just take her further than she deserves. I think it has done so already. Those misguided enough to keep voting for her must either be particularly refined sadists who wish to inflict suffering on her partner, herself and the viewers week after sad and sorry week, or suffer from some form of perverted chivalry to keep a natural non-dancer in the contest.

Others have shown some improvement. I'm sorry to say that Fiona has shown none.

I was going to say the same. I think there are a lot of voters simply keeping her in to (a) torture us, (b) torture Brendan and (c) because they are enjoying her obvious discomfort and embarrassment.

I can see her walking out to be honest.

Much as I dont like her much, if Brendan had have commented to me, "You must be a crap shag, luv" because she found it difficult to express passion with the slimeball, Id have blacked both his eyes before going back to my normal life....

When you look at the hours of training, she is putting the hours in. Plus I think (bear me out here!) she kind of epitomises the ethos of SCD for me. Someone who couldn't dance even if their feet were being peppered by a scatter gun, and who knows nothing about dance. Every week they improve a bit more, and begin to love dance a bit more. I enjoy watching the good dancers more, but I think that there is a place for Fiona too.

I don't think she does the "poor little me" routine, I think she is just painfully honest about herself and her shortcomings.

I think - and I know this is going to controversial - that, though she was still appalling, she did make a real effort last night and showed a genuine improvement and as Scrambling says, it is a necessary part of the show to have poor beginners who improve by (fractional) degrees.

1st witness, Julian Clary ....

Hang on Scrambling and LonePiner

Julian Clary started out as a Phobic about dance last year but each week his confidence grew until he got to the point where he deserved to be there due to his continued improvement. Julian may not have been able to carry of some of the more powerful or passionate dances with the same enthusiasm as some of the others but his footwork was really good and he mastered the basic steps and took on board the comments. You can't take anything away from Julian as he put his heart into it.

As for Fiona, I barely recognised one basic jive step last night and that was it. Fiona has not made the improvement she should have by now (especially when you compare the other non dancers like Bill and Dennis). I think Brendan deliberately only put one basic in the routine as he knew it would be about all she could manage. Fiona's performance starts with her training clips showing her crying, getting upset and reiterating that she Can't do it!!! It then continues with a lovely outfit, gorgeous smile and stunning male partner however as soon as she steps on the dance floor, she stands there in her own world, with her arms hanging by her side (when she forgets to lift them) and stumbling over her feet!!! It is time to go Fiona. Lets hope poor Brendan doesn't get lumbered with another sack of spanners next time!!!!

The most disappointing thing about Fiona remaining, particularly if she hangs on for yet another week, is that to save her, another better dancer will have to go.

Last week I thought she was going round Sainsburys thinking about her shopping, (with Brendan as the shopping trolley), not dancing with millions of eyes on her!

I don't care how much improvement or effort she shows. She shouldn't have been in the show in the first place, and I want her out.

Hmm.. we've never had a celebrity walk out yet, have we? it would be interesting to see what the producers would do. I hate that she may walk away hating dance though.

She won't go. She didn't quit after the first two weeks when the judges were 100% negative. This week everyone was all encouragement. If she doesn't improve this week then I think she will probably be voted off, I don't think she will quit; she must feel some sort of debt of gratitude to those people who gave money to charity to keep her in and a debt to those couples who were eliminated in her stead...
