Alex "Professional contestant"?
SandyB

Has anyone noticed how much Alex seems to know about the foreign BB programs?
He was also talking yesterday to Adele about how he would have got on with the contestants in the first BB house.
Naturally the sound was then cut-off!!!

How would any one know about BB unless you watched it or read about it or someone told you? would anyone in their right mind apply to go on a programme for 8 weeks and not have a clue about what they are letting themselves in for???

All BB contestants are professionals!

He mentioned quite openly that a girl friend of his was in the Australian version. I think he said it was the first evictee.

By the way there are a lot of people who don;t follow the program who are aware of characters and stories because people talk about it a work. This is what it happens in my workplace. Magazines has also a lot of BB coverage,...

I've always wondered who the female contestant in the first Australian BB is that Alex knows, as I was over in Australia when the series was shown.

I doubt it would be the first evictee as that was Andy, a dominatrix, originally from South America.

I suspect it might be Jemma, who was evicted after 9 weeks (Australian BB lasts for 12 weeks). She was over in England during BB1 and is a very attractive 27 year old beautician and make up artist.

Australian BB1 was wicked though.

What was all that about last night when Tim was talking about how much money he'd made and his Lotus car and said he had a company which was involved in the same line of business as Alex. At that Alex was behind Adele's back shaking his head at Tim telling him to keep quiet about that?

Anyone know what Alex and Tim do in real life?

Could be wrong, but I have recollections of Tim in his first week saying something like he'd like to work with Alex outside the house.

i'm not sure if tim is some sort of talent agent, but I may have misheard that he was a bowling alley polisher by day. he tests the prototype polishers by wearing them on his head. have you not noticed?

The point I was trying to make is that alot has been made of Jonny knowing about BB and being accused of studying winning tactics but no mention has been made of Alex.

Tim runs a modelling recruitment agency. If you look on Friends reunited (at his proper posting not the joke posting someone has made on his behalf - ha ha!) it says the name of it and everything!

The fact is there is no such thing as a 'professional housemate'.
No matter how many episodes of Big Brother and Survivor you have seen, surely nothing can prepare you for actually doing something like that.

Surely anyone who was serious about entering a contest of any sort would do a bit of homework beforehand? It is a game show, a reality-tv take on it undoubtedly, but still a game show nonetheless. All competitions require a certain amount of preparation; I honestly don't see what the problem with any of the HMs with respect to this matter would be.

OK, so the para above doesn't read properly, sod it, it's been a long day and I need a drink or 6.
