I have a feeling when Adele was being spoken to it was probably just like when your on your death bed ready to go, everything is going white and you can hear the man upstairs getting ready for you.

But even if the producers are good at acting, and manage to convince all the nominees that "they are the one" to the same extent that they convinced Adele, it still does not completely fix the damage.

The truth is Adele has now had a psychological reheasal for the feelings of having been selected, and so it will not come as the same surprise as it should have.
