Shirl, I think the remark about us hating most in others what we hate about ourselves is true. However It's too simplistic to describe disliking someone - or how do you explain why we all detested Hitler?

I dislike both Adele and JAde for their unfair ,bullying and back-biting. Sure everyone talks about everyone else. It's a question of degree and frequency.

I also find it quite disturbing for other posters to seem to hate someone because they aren't pretty.
I wish those who did this would post a photo of themselves - and then perhaps we really would see that we dislike in others what we are ourselves.

what i mean about those ones who go on and on about hm on here is some people give a valid reason for not liking a hm. it could be something they have said or done. then some just seem to rant about a certain hm and everything about them is wrong which sounds more like a problem with the person writing the thread than the hm themselves.
i get worried when someone starts out calm about adele for eg then gets more and more wound up and aggressive as they go on.I dont understand how you can feel so much hate for someone on tv.......murderers,rapists,ex husbands yes but people on a tv show.......i dont understand

Adele does not really believe she is going, she is just being manipulative as usual. She and all the HM's expect Jade to go tonight so it will be a MASSIVE shock when Adele's name comes up. I cannot wait. Alison's revenge is kicking ASS!

If you really hate Adele as much as you say you do (which is quite alot) then surely you would have more satisfaction in letting her stay to the end lulling her into a false sense of security that everyone on the outside loves her.

Would this not give you more satisfaction the fact that she would think she had won?

That's the trouble with Adele haters. They just don't give her any credit.

She worked out straight away that she would be going tonight, and you're just denying the fact, because you don't want to feel cheated when her names called out tonight.

The baying mob feel the need to quench their blood lust, before they move on to their next victim next week.

As for Adele's eviction being more entertaining. I can't understand this way of thinking either. All they'll show her tonight, is that 2 people nominated her, and it was the 2 she was expecting.

The only thing I'm looking forward to tonight, is that she's got the other HM's so well sussed, and I really hope she tells it like it is with regard to her perceptions on them. Even if she has to do it above the cat calling of the other 3 families.

While we are on the subject. Wouldn't it have been more interesting to see Jade evicted tonight? Not because the crowd will give her a hard time like Adele, but just to see look on her face when she realises that every HM nominated her and their reasons why. Now, that would have been entertaining.

Jade has laready been told by several of the HMs what they find annoying about her, so wouldn't be surprised. Adele seems to think Jade is the only one who would nominate her, so it will be great when she sees this is not true.

Exactly, and Shirl is expressing her thoughts and emotions and in turn you are entitled not to read them if you don't like them.
I don't necessarily agree with some of her views but it's her right to express them.

As to Shirl's point, as an Adele 'hater' I must confess to being a little disappointed that she seems happy to go and we won't get the 'look of shock' on her face. But then I thought that is just mean! There's a tendancy to get carried away with the game and forget that she's a human being.
