I love the idea! I also think one location would be best - there would be more chance of getting the celebrities and dancers to come as well as SCD fans.
Only snag is, I'd probably be too scared to dance with the professional dancers there!

Still awaiting feedback from the BBC and I will be chasing this up however, if all else fails, there is a PLAN B and it's great!!!

i'm from broadbottom and thats near enough to stockport (sorry if i'm getting the venue wrong) does it matter how old i am i'm 15 and would be prepaired to help! lol

I think all this is a great idea, unfortunately as I am from Scotland I couldnt afford to travel unless it was reasonably local.
However, I was thinking as an extra to this idea, that if there isnt already one wouldnt it be a great idea to set up a SCD Fan club and then we could have local meetings and get togethers and then all of us get together a few times a year and at those times we could invite the professionals to give a demo or whatever. Or we could even invite them to local ones too.
I love SCD and I'd love to meet other fans too and the lovely Anton and Ian of course!!

I think this is a brilliant idea! If there were one or two people from each region willing to administrate it, it would work very well. I'm in Gloucestershire, so here's the South West volunteer! Any others?

There is none!!!
Sorry but they still haven't replied. Gillypand has however, also e mailed them and I have sent a further e mail to them trying to nudge them along a bit.
I did however receive a reply from James Martin's PA who thinks it's a brilliant idea and whilst James schedule is very hectic, she will be telling him about the idea when she speaks to him!!!
Still don't worry. If all else fails there is still PLAN B!!!
