Orange 3G PAYG Phone Bargains
Orange have gone on the 3G PAYT offensive
3 handsets on Orange have been reduced to less than £50 Motorola c975 (Absolute Junk) - £29.99 LG 8150 - £49.99 Samsung z107 - £49.99 As well as the Samsung S750 & S750i at £49.99 & £59.99 respectively. There is FREE delivery on these handsets too. Just for info the cheapest 3G PAYG Vodafone is currently £89.99(Motorola V980) , 3 UK's handsets cost from £59.99(c975) including a £30 top-up and the chepest ones are refurbished (dodgy) rubbish. Nice to see some great spec 3G camera handsets at pocket money prices. Wow!! |

The Sanyo S750i looks a great buy for £59.99 with it's spec. Nice display too and a 1.3MP camera. Great deal.

Not sure but I'm pretty confident if you need an updated SIM and you are on contract Orange will supply one FOC. (I got a 3G PAYG SIM upgrade from 02 to use in a once useless 3 handset for free).
Call them and ask and let us know. |

3G phones use a USIM and 2g phones use a SIM. They're intercompatible but you won't be able to use the 3G services without both. At the moment, the only way you can get a contract 3G USIM is buy buying a contract 3G phone but there's nothing to stop you putting a 2G SIM in the phone and using it like a 2G phone. You'll get slower data speeds and no video calling but most of the phone features would still work.
Russel, the phones will likely be locked to Orange, you'd need to get them unlocked either by Orange or you'll usually find someone who will do it at your local market but then you would be able to use a 3 USIM in the phone. |
