Shaken not stirred...

does anyone have a favourite drink, to be drunk while savouring SCD?
its kind of sad - but i must have a gin and lemonade with loads of ice and some lemon juice in it, and a wee slice in it too sometimes if i'm very lucky mr plum will refill this for me (if i let him out of the other room, where he is banished to when it starts)
please, please tell me its not just me

You're not alone Stephanieplum.

I need a nice French Red Wine to keep me from shouting at the TV in excitement especially when the celebs pull off a complicated step or move!!!

I also have it to keep my mouth busy whilst my emotions are running overtime as I have been reduced to tears on a couple of occasions.............................. and that's not just laughing at Fiona!!!! Sorry Fiona. x

i have been known to have a small snivvel myself, its the whole emotion of it, you really feel for the couples whether they do a good performance or maybe a more disappointing one.
the goosebumps often make an appearance too, especially yesterday with patsy and anton's tango.
the gin definitely helps to control the emotions thats my excuse anyhoo

Last night I had a lovely Gibson Martini to start with, and then a nice White Cosmopolitan.

I can't watch SCD without a cocktail. I also put on my best shoes. Is that wrong?
