Please everyone!

It's lovely to see the forum busy and people enjoying being here, but can we please stick to single threads for discussion?

There are numerous threads about last night, the judges, Brendan and Fiona, Darren Gough etc!

One thread for each subject makes life much easier and makes the forum much tidier.

Part of the reason Claudia (or her researchers) read these forum is due to the tidy nature and the ease of which it is to keep track of everything!

Please just put all your comments for last night on one thread, all the comments for Darren on a sngle one etc! Please look forst before starting another one and please be considerate! Also a personal one - can we use proper words and avoid texttalk at all costs?

I know what you mean as it has all gone a bit mad. (I was going to write hun there but in another thread elsewhere today people say they hate that..plus I have do other things that another person here has said they don't like! I'm not having a good day.)

Going to have a day or two off here...hopefully it'll calm down soon and it is just enthusiasm.

It sounds really snobbish, but the forum looks awful. Every new thought that someone has had, has been put in a new thread! It looks so childish and most of the new threads could have been put in the few that already existed!

This forum worked beautifuly for over three weeks before the mass influx, and it looks like a bunch of 14 year olds are posting now!

It's really sad, as it has worked so well up to now!

i think it's probably claudias fault that it's so messy

but the thing with popular forums is people get lazy, or feel their idea is so good nobody has had it before so don't even bother to look and see

and all the nasty 'fan' threads. bleugh!

but, it's nice to log on and see some activity so best not to moan

I've spent my time this evening sifting through the threads and reporting the duplicate threads. This has meant that I have been unable to post, but by the mess that the board was in, it is time well spent!

In all I have reported 12 threads because of duplication.

For the benefit of the whole forum, please can I request that you check that

1) your opinions can fit into an existing thread before starting a new one.

2) don't post thread about wanting to be the next Mrs whoever etc - keep it opinionated, not childish!

3) stay on topic

4) keep all opinions about the same thing on one thread!

Thank you for your help in keeping this forum THE forum on which to discuss SCD! Claudia reads it because it is the best - please try to keep it that way!

Oh dear..I have done fan threads here. For Anton and Claudia. And one on the X factor forum.

Twice I have been told that people don't like them today on here. I do them rather than start 14 threads on my favourites everytime, so that I can just write anything I want under that thread title about that person. And I only do them if no one else has mentioned said people.

I think I really will take a wee break from here...all gone a bit odd and I feel very silly today. I know people aren't directly saying things at me, but when you get people saying I hate all these threads or I hate people doing this or that (I had that on another forum here today ), and those are things you yourself do, you do start to wonder what you can or cannot post and whether you should. I agree with the tidying up thing and all that Catherine says...and not starting loads of new threads and stuff, all stuff in the T and C's...hence my explanation above.

I'm afraid I do worry (got told off alot for that and being a wuss and whiney and needy on the BB forums *I would use the rolleyes smiley but elsewhere today found out that everyone hates it*) but that is just the way I am.

Hopefully things will calm down a bit, and I'll pop my head in again soon (though I won't start any new threads! )

We do ask that users do a quick search before starting threads to ensure they're not unnecessarily duplicating discussion elsewhere.
