I believe being deluded is a form of insanity.

Journey South should watch out. Louis might start comparing them to serial killers if they look like a threat to one of his acts...like he did last time.

Yeah, the reference to Fred West last series was a prime example of Louis exerting no self-discipline over what he says. What a ridiculous and upsetting thing to say. He would go mad if Simon did that to one of his acts. No wonder his acts think they can say whatever crap they like - illogical and arrogant - with his influence.

Just saw their poll. Looks like Conway Sisters could be in trouble next week as well as Chenai.

Top 3 in 'This Morning' poll;

1. Shayne 30%
2. Andy
3. Journey South (27% I think)

Bottom
Conway sisters.

Sorry, can't remember the order of the others.

This poll was quite acurate last year IIRC.

Journey South had 21%. Andy a few percent more.
Conway Sisters - 2%
Chenai - 3%

Glad Andy and JS did well in the poll, a shame Shayne was top though. Chenai is second-from-last, disappointed by that.

Shayne
Andy
Journey South
Maria

Nicholas
Chico

Oh dear. I'm not interested in Andy, Shayne or Journey South at all. Are they really that much better than Maria and Brenda? I wonder if they will bother having any women at all next year.

I wouldn't say that they are necessarily better than Maria and Brenda, but they are more likeable. It's a sad fact that women don't generally do well in these competitions (yes, I know there are exceptions).

I don't really like Maria or Brenda, but I do agree they have fantastic voices. Maria, especially, just doesn't seem to display any personality.

The only arrogant duo on X-Factor are him and Sharon

Did Louis mention the newspaper stories about his contestant Phillip?

Ah well.. sounds like he didn't have too much to say. I wouldn't have personally said JS were arrogant, and I'm not sure why he brought Chenai's speech impediment up.. but oh well.”

JS arrogant? What a larf....Shayne would have made Simon Cowel pale into humility king zone! Compared with Shayne, JS were like two cutsey wootesy little angels (of Harlem, of course - oooooh, bad joke!)

The arguments between them. Apparently, Louis wanted Phillip voted off the programme. He was angry with Phillip for not listening to him.

I never claimed to be taking notes. All I meant was that I heard him say he wasn't mentioning any names, and he didn't. I didn't mean to imply everyone else was lying!!!

It's kind-of obvious I didn't hear Louis say the duo bit, or I would have been able to narrow it down.

Anyway, thanks to those who explained it to me, which is all I wanted. Save the fights for who should win!

Maybe I'm being daft here, but which mentor is honestly going to diss their own acts?

JS are only starting to worry Old Louis as he's more afraid of them than any of the opposition - he'll try to find any way to undermine them.
At the outset it was "I've liked you from Day One guys... I'm a great fan......"
Then it was "I liked it more last week ..... I don't think you'll sell any albums...."
And now they are arrogant.....and you, Louis, are a hypocrite.
