Hi

Just seen the story about Sky Mobile TV putting like 19 of their channels on Vodafone 3G handsets for free (till january) how will that work then ? Will there be a option for TV or something on Vodafone Live ? I got a Sharp 903 3G handset which is the latest one so should get the TV stuff.

yep me too its going to be quite good init Finally 3G gives us something decent. Wooo im going to watch so Much TV before Jan 31st cause we dont know when something like this comes back for free again. It will properbly on Vodafone Live! page. Im guessing theres going to be a option for 'TV streams' or something on the VF live page but we'll see in about 8hours.

Will there be bandwidth costs to pay, or will it be totally free?

Well im assuming its going to be 100% free because it seems the TV streams will be on Vodafone Live page and Vodafone Live seems to be 100% free unless you purchase a game or ringtone etc.

on saturday the soccer saturday banner appears on the top of the screen but then disapears with no mention of it anywhere else on live.
I presume this is something to do with bandwidth limits.

...although now it seems to be timing out when trying to connect to the streams. I think they may have under-estimated demand

Yes folks, it's all completely 100% free untill the end of Jan 2006. After that it's £5 per package per month. There are 17 channels to choose from including Sky News, CNN, Sky One, Sky Movies, Sky sports news, Cartoon network...
You may have trouble accessing the channels today due to high demand, everyone is trying it!!!
If there's ever been a good excuse to change to Vodafone, this is it!
