I'm a bit bored with Chenai; she's always appealing for the sympathy vote by turning on the waterworks and saying I'm doing this for my mother and brothers.

Doesn't she realise thousands of people have a lousy childhood and that becoming a 'star' is not the answer she is looking for?

Ok, a lot of people have dreams, but she needs to get real, life's tough, whatever ones background may be.

I totally agree , I'm getting really sick of her now , she should be grateful she got through at all , Andy's mum just died and he never harps on about , Maria's just got married
and has barely seen her husband since their wedding day,
one half of journey south has a new born at home .... I wish people would stop giving her the sympathy vote, hope she goes soon , but Conway sisters first !

I understand exactly what you're saying. There are plenty of people who have had TERRIBLE TERRIBLE childhoods (I understand, before anyone starts, that we probably do not know the FULL story of her childhood unless we were involved in it somewhere) but you don't see every single one of them crying at the slightest bit of criticism and bringing their past up at every chance they get.

On Saturday when she was singing we saw almost more shots of her mum miming along than we did of her. It reminded me of last year, when Sharon took every opportunity to stick a picture of Tabby's young son behind him. It's cynical, and it does Chenai no favours, though I blame Louis rather than Chenai.

Why does she keep going on about "i'm doing this for my brothers", it's a bit like a broken record now, I feel like saying GET A GRIP WOMAN! when she starts crying and bringing her family into it, Andy's mum died recently yet he hasn't mentioned it on the live shows, but then again Andy doesn't have to beg for votes.

I think Chenai should go next Saturday!!

I quite like Chenai,She's pretty and can sing but can anyone tell me what great tragedy seperates her from the others?have I missed something?what is wrong with her brothers?was Simon right when he said 'loads of people have her problem'or a little harsh?

yeah I wondered what was supposed to be wrong with her, at the end of the day sh*t happens and you've just gotta deal with it and not keep dragging it up because it ain't healthy.

Sadly it's been discussed, masticated and fully digested, and it is getting really boring and looking like something of a witchhunt. She didn't cry this week. She didn't choose what was going to be shown on her pre-song VT. Leave the poor girl alone! (that's not directed at you specifically Slapper, but at all the terriers on here who can't bear to let go of this bone!!!)

i like Chenai a lot, she was the only one i did actually vote for this week.
Shes a stunning looking girl with a great voice and personality. Why anyone would vote for her out of sympathy is beyond me!
And im sure 99% of us that did vote for her did it because we liked her performance not because of her vt clip.

Apparently, her problem is she doesn't want her brother to grow up in Bradford, cos its too common . I say vote her out and send her back to the lovely folk in Bradford and let them deal with her, the big cry-baby
