sanyo s750i question - software?
hi guys wondering if anyone can help
have just bought and received a sanyo s750i and have correctly uploaded the software to my comp via windows xp, but even after restarting the comp and reconnectng the phone, i dont seem to have a connection to the comp confirmation? can anyone help? am i looking in the wrong place i have reinstalled the software too and checked via the online manaul so its defo in there but not sure where to look! any help much appreciated thanks! |

Hi mate got the same problem.
Its doing my head in. I looked on the sanyo website,no help there. |

success! i found it...all you have to do is...
when the phone is plugged into the comp via usb select transfer from phone to pc option from the phone..u`ll know this is correct as the phone will say something like "do not dissconect usb, communication in progress- dont worry this is telling you its ready to go!! then go to my computer there will be a new icon there "device with removable storage" double click on it and from there select sanyo then open this folder, select the sub folder to use (ringtones, pics etc) and then via drag and drop, take the piccies, tones vids u want and upload them into the phone!! took a few splinters out of my head scratching it working out what to do but all good!! hope it helps dude ps dont suppose u know if can be unlocked? im happy to use it on orange but may change it to a tmobs sim if i can get it unlocked online or from my local phone place |

Off toppic, but how did they get away with calling it a s750i??? Just too similar to SE's current popular phone!

its a good point dude! it is the updated s750 model - which i think was out before sony eric`s k750 although i could be wrong on that so i guess its just sanyo and sony ericsson bods having a bit of a similiar brainwave for names at the same time?!
to steve no wurries bud! the only thing is defo need a bigger memory card!!
