This is the thread for all those - like me - who have attacked and sliced up Jade over these weeks and who now feel rotten about it.

OK she's ignorant and annoying but for Gods sake look at her mother. I saw her tonight for the first time - and where she lives etc. I was appalled.

In fact I have to re-evaluate Jade. The girl has actually done brilliantly to be as normal as she is!! I know she's still well short of a full packet but really - she's had NO chance.

You must do penance as I started a thread 'we should be kind to Jade' weeks ago and you did not follow the advice.
For your penance you must provide a safe haven for Jade in your home for as long as necessary.

I don't really think that Jade is that bad, I mean she has made some rather unfortuate mistakes, but at the end fo the day she is only human. Her mistakes were mainly about her being immature, maybe undereducated and her possibly a little ill equiped to deal with the whole Big Brother experience. At least she isn't full of ideas and plans on how to win the game.

I heard her speaking to Adele tonight and she said she was going to be a different person when she got out. She said she feels that she has to offload the burdens of others and start living life for herself. She said that she loves her mum and doesn't regret all that she has had to do for her, but she needs to start taking some responsibility for herself now (or something along those lines!). I hope she takes her own advice. I admit to feeling sympathy for her too.

While I don't think she should win because I still don't like her, I do feel bad because of what I've said about her. People on this thread are having a conscience attack, and think that the nastiness concerning Jade has gone too far. Give us some credit for at least acknowledging that we've been a bit harsh. It doesn't necessarily mean that we now like her.

Yep that's it. I certainly don't like her. But I don't like the way a lot of us - including me - have made her a victim - without knowing the fuller picture. She's actually doing her best I think.

I was gonna start a thread like this but as I only joined 2day i can't But after seeing Jade's house and mother I couldn't believe she was her daughter. You have to admire that she turned out quite respectable considering her background, even though she did slag off some contestants. Her mother is complete trash and she seems so proud of her daughter, as does Jade with her mother. Jade to WIN!!! (maybe not but she has done well considering)

Welcome Sherlock . I haven't seen Jade's house, but I have seen her mum a few tmes. She comes over as quite abrasive (and scary!). As you say Jade is proud of her mum regardless of what/who she is, good for her (everyone should be of their own). Yes Jade has been bitching behind people's backs (who can put their hand up and honestly say they have NEVER done this) and she's also been judged on her looks (who can put their hand up and say they are aesthetically perfect?)

I can't say I like Jade one way or the other, but she does annoy me!

She’s a bully and a deceitful two-faced liar who positively revels in her own stupidity and as far as I can tell has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Her saving grace this week was that someone with all of the same traits but the intelligence to know better was up against her thus saving her from the inevitable chop.

Enlighten me please on how Jade is "respectable".
