I thought Natasha was beautiful in the Christmas Special. I thought the judges were hard on her and Brendan in favour of Jill & Darren - they were bound to win as they were the immediate champions. I just STILL find it amazing what Natasha achieved as a non-dancer - she really is a natural. Jill had dance training until her teens so learning Ballroom was just taking up a different style. Anyone who knows about dance knows that taking up new styles is much easier when you are competent at another. I DO admire how far she came in the series but just marvel at Natasha being a natural.

I hate Tess. She is secret friends with Anton and they have tea and biscuits and sneaky dance lessons. Why is her life so perfect?

Tess is lovely bright funny warm Northern well compared to most
She may even be persuaded to do a twirl with Anton

You shouldn't make sweeping statements about other posters. I attended ballet and tap lessons as a child and attended Latin and ballroom classes until my late teens. Also I am musical, have a good sense of rhythm, play the piano and sing in a choir.

I agree I also danced until my teens and whilst I appriciate that Natasha was good in Series 1 I cannot stand her as a presenter. It has nothing to do with what I think about her dancing just her style of presenting which, I believe, is not as good as Tess's. As other posters ahve said she is cheery and encouraging. I felt Natasha was akward in her role.

I'm sorry Caramel. I don't understand what sweeping statement I made about other posters!?! I thought I was giving my opinion about Natasha & Jill though admittedly looking at the thread title I deviated from the thread.
