No, I don't think it was the rumba.. I think it was them dancing. Technically they were really precise.. but there didn't seem to me to be any really passion between them.. the style was also really fast for a rumba. I personally don't like all the sharpness of the lines during a rumba.
I also have been quite thrilled/surprised by how well Brendan & Karen look together.
Camilla gets my vote, she seems the lightest on her feet, then Erin and Lilia.

Agreed. Anton doesn't do it for me in the HOT stakes Creepy is probably a bit strong.... smarmy, oops that's probably just as strong ( better run from cover from the Anton lovers). I think he seems to have worked with Patsy well and definitely brought out the best in her and he is the best at ballroom ( but then ballroom doesn't do it for me either !!!!)

ANTON. He is wonderful, I can't stand pretty boys, need my men to be funny, nice and have character. He has got it all. Ian is a lovely chap, but a bit bland and way too tall, Brendan is a bit fiery, Darren I just don't find sexy, but I like him, Matthew I liked the look of but we saw so little of him and Zorro, well lets just say I'm not into dark and mysterious.
So for me it will always be Anton, plus I love the way he always looks so smart, you could take him anywhere.

Ian has gotten too too nice this year. He wasn't like that with Denise last year. I was a big fan off his lasy year but he's become very quiet and boring and I think it shows in the dancing. The jive routine was tepid. The foxtrot lukewarm. I think him and Denise were a better couple than him and Zoe.

Have to disagree Eclipse, they got four nines for the foxtrot which was wonderful to watch, the jive was fun, and boy can he move, didnt you see him in the samba demo, he has so much energy its amazing!!
I agree he is quieter this series but with the new hair he is gorgeous and has a lovely smile and as someone else pointed out very wicked eyes
Just cos he's not wandering about in only a towel doesnt make him any less sexy!! I bet he's a tiger underneath
Mind you Brendan is hot very hot in a different way, fantastic dancer, incredible mover, but I am tired of the persistant bad boy image, there are elements of that but alot of it especially recently has been forced upon him, he has been very sweet on scd recently, and seems intelligent and knows what he's talking about. Hidden depths I suspect!!
I'm not a dancer so I'm not going to comment on his and Zoes dances technically. But purely from an entertainment point of view I found his and Denises dances more entertaining and fun. Their jive last year was flawed but fun and had more energy, than this year.
Also he seems more subdued this year. It may be because last year they came across as too confident (although not to me) But he was more lively last year, in interviews as well. But that's just my opinion. I'm just talking about when he's dancing with the celeb not with Camilla though.
Plus I think there is a good side to Brendan (with the bad boy). He has been very supportive of Fiona, lots of hugs and praises, and remember he did have the worse partner this year.

you must be joking 'forced upon him'.........we are talking about the same egotistical guy we see on TV..? and don't know about intelligent, canny maybe( certainly knows how to get the required attention)
