I thought it was about time we had a thread just for the fabulous Len and his Tuesday Master class on ITT.

I really enjoy these slots, as not only is Len hilariously funny, but I also learn lots about the dancing too!

Agree, he's hilarious and really good at explaining the whole thing too.

Loved Claudia's stifled reaction to his 'up and down like a bride's nightie' last week

Me too - heeheehee. In just a 5-10 minute slot he manages to come up with TV gold and at least 3 new must-quote sentences. There was the whole chesticles thing and the bride's nightie, and the naming of Erin as Miss Whiplash!

Wonder what'll happen tonight?

oooh am watching Richard and Judy and Claudia's mother is on: Eve Pollard, there is a scary resemblance apart from the hair

I'm loving the Len Goodman Dancer, I can't wait for the masterclass today. I was talking to my Gran about the judges and she was bewailing their lack of ballroom experience, all except Len, who she remembers 'from way back'. Got to love a bit of pedigree!

Len is pure gold. He must be a delight to have as a teacher.

I've a friend who had tickets to week two and in the interval Len was the only one that went walkabouts and he had quite a chat to him. Nice guy.

He is the maestro. Have you heard the Old Woman on the Steve Wright Show? She sounds like his wife.

So funny. "You've got a bony knob, put it against my bony knob." The man is comedy gold! I love how embarrassed Claudia gets, it's so funny to see her squirm.

I think seeing Claudia squirm is part of the joy! The more she squirms, the more Len teases her!

Len is excellent and it's great to have some of their terms that they use on Saturday night explained. I've been having dance lessons for a few months now (inspired by SCD) and his tips have been really helpful.

We've had "chesticle" last week and a "bony knob" this week what will he think of next !! Claudia you're reactions are great!

As its Tuesday, I thought I'd give this thread a little nudge up the lists ready for Len's quote of the week!!!

Oh, and his dancing tips too!

Len is a great guy but his real expetise is in the land of freestyle disco at which he is a master teacher he cracked my pupils up several years ago during lecture with some of his terminology and whilst counting adding 1,2,and a big bam boo. His lectures of dances for toddlers is inspired

This is the best new segment of series 3. Still not over the loss of Strictly Confidential, though.

Strictly Confidential was a daily news section with all the gossip from the training sessions. It gave us more insight into the training sessions than we seem to get now.

Ah yes, I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it.. but we do seem to be gettng less access to the backstage training and the 'Strictly Confidential' was great last series.

Len came up with some gems last night, but I can't remember what they were...

Agree with everything in this thread so far!

This is of course Len's third series of SCD, but he really seems to have shone particularly bright this time....

His demonstrations and explanations of the dances - fabulous!

His observations during the dance reviews - fabulous!

His little comic sayings - fabulous!

His chemistry with Claudia and ability to make her squirm - priceless!!

All in all, "rather good" as Craig would say.

This Tuesday night slot, has quickly become a 'must watch at all costs' IMO!!!

The "ooooh SCARY EYES" about the lovely Will was hillarious!

I love when he tries to make Claudia dance. She is so wary of what he's going to say next she just freezes It's comedy gold.

His discriptions are marvellous too. The "painting by numbers" analogy was so true. That must be why Darren looks so great all the time.
