It has to be Christopher Parker for me. He was awful, yet he still made the final.

Carol Vorderman made me cringe the most.

Quentin Wilson. He moved like he had one foot nailed to the floor.

Christopher Parker. He made me cringe every week.

Fiona, because although Quentin Wilson and Diarmuid Gavin and Chris Parker were poor, they at least enjoyed what they were doing, and didn't whine and grumble all through practice sessions.

You are not wrong, but then again she makes me cringe everytime I see her

It has to be either David Dickinson and his awful jazz hands or Carol "I feel liberated" Voderman with her cringeworthy rumba! I still don't think I have cringed quite as much as when I was watching it, although Fiona's rumba ran it a close second.

All of the above mentioned but, as said, several could be forgiven due to positive attitude and enthusiasm - that can't be said for Fiona or Carol...bad attitudes and cringe-worthiness.

Sorry gang. It has to be Fiona for me. How come she looks so happy to go through, when she seems to hate it all week long?

Has to be Fiona - she can't even walk in time to the music?! And she just lurches between steps. I quite like her though but she really needs to stop the dancing.

Put down the dancing shoes....

Step away from the dancing shoes....

David Dickinson. He couldn't even count!

Diarmuid Gavin was pretty ropey too, I always remember one move where he was supposed to be stepping over his partner gracefully - it looked as if he was hauling a sack of spuds around the garden.

Oh poor Fiona. She's so guileless and sweet. But she really does dance like a water filled balloon. Whichever bit of her Brendan doesn't support, just sort of "flops" over his arms.

mine were David 'orange' dickinson, Quentin whatshisname and Fiona Phillips.

Quetin Wilson was pretty painful. Chris Parker was bad but funny.

Ooohhhh, let me think...can you guess who I'm going to say?

Fiona.

Esther Rantzen was not a bad dancer as far as I remember but I spent most of her perforanaces cringing and peeping through my fingers at her trying to be sexy.

Poor Esther. I didn't think she was that bad. She's a good example of how an older woman is damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. Esther got told off for trying to be sexy, and Gloria got told off for not trying. It's not easy for the older lady on SCD

Not unless Len became a SCD teacher! Thats what they need. Someone closer in age to make it seem real.

I'm 38 and wouldn't have a problem 'trying' to be sexy with any of the guys. Give me a 17 year old though and I bet I would.

No it wasn't the fact she was older, just that to me she came across as terribly false. I thought Gloria Hunniford got it about right and she didn't try to become a sex kitten which, to me, Esther did. I do admit that the apparent sexual blossoming of a woman her age was rather hard to stomach. By the way, my mother's 70 and found the performances even more excruciating than I did.

I know what you mean about it not being easy for the older woman on SCD. Perhaps they're going for the wrong sort of older women - if they chose one who already had a sexy image, say Joanna Lumley, then it could be very interesting.

That said, I guess sexiness is in the eye of the beholder too so you're never going to hit everyone's spot!

Chris Parker had the longest training and was still so bad. But cute with it

Ooh! Or Diana Rigg, Debbie Harry or Honor Blackman.

But not Joan Collins or Jilly Cooper. Hehe. Although I would pay good money to watch them dance.

There have been plenty of them that didn't do very well but it would have to be Fiona for me simply because it always looks so excrutiating for her, and with my over-active empathy gland it makes for painful viewing.

Diarmuid, Chris and Quentin were bad but kept smiling. Love Diarmuid anyway
