Neighbours: Has Anyone Else Switched Off Since The Timmins Family Arrived?
I used to like Neighbours but that bloody family have driven me away... the ONLY reason ive started watching again is for the build up to *that storyline* ; i think Neighbours picked the wrong victims for *that storyline* - shame the Timmins family didnt get tickets for *that trip*! lol

know what you mean....i miss both showings cos i'm out at work so i tape it ( yeah tragically sad, i know) and whenever the Timmins appear i fast forward past it....mind you i also do that for the stupid wrestling and bikini shop plots - thy are just cringeworthy.

I couldn't stand Janelle or Dylan at first but they've grown on me now. These days I think Janelle's hilarious, you should keep watching for her book 'dream' scenes.

i think the family would work in a UK soap, cos the cast is bigger. The Dingles, The Millers, The Battersby/Browns work (although only so far) because the size of the casts cover it. with Neighbours it literally is 1/5 of the cast, and it doesnt work for me so far. even their names irritate me - Janae? Bree? Janelle? grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

They rock, Janelle's book will be quality when it gets published, can't wait to see what Susan makes of it.

They are great- especially Janelle. her dream sequence last week was so funny, with Suse as the villain and Karl and Paul fighting over her

When they joined i came very very close to switching off.
I still can't stand Stingray and Dylan, utterly awful characters! But im getting use to Janelle although sometimess she really annoys me, and Janae. But Bree has been OK since the start as she isn't annoying like the rest! |

I've always really liked Bree, and I think Janelle is hysterical (love the book dreams!
)! I don't like Janae though and I find Stingray and Dylan incredibly annoying. As long as Bree and Janelle are there, then I can cope with them If anything's going to make me switch off, it'll be the House of Trouser and the stupid wrestling and bikini shop storylines!Laura xx |

I think the idea is to have characters who will stir things up a bit, a real change from Neighbours in 2003 and 2004.

I think neighbours idea was to put in a rougher family with a rough background. In 2003 came the Hoylands and 2004 the Bishops who didn't have a lot of background or a tough past background. They are growing on me, but Jaene's bunny boiling ways and screaming matches are wearing a bit thin!

Neighbours is too depressing. It's worse than EastEnders these days.

Bree is just the best person ever, Stingers and Janae are good, janelle is OK, but Dylan is so annoying, I can't stand the boy.
