I totally missed what comments Sharon made to Shane. Must have been on the toilet at the time. What did she say that caused all the fuss?

"I've got something for you. It's soft.. it's warm.. and it smells good" .. or words to that effect .. said very sensually.

Sharon was so overcome with emotion after Shayne's performance that she broke down and confessed that she was a talentless media wh*re who really knows nothing about music and has no idea what "Asda" actually is.

PMSL

I'm keeping a bucket at the side of me on Saturday just in case she starts slobbering again.

I must have missed that if it was on Saturday's show. What was she ACTUALLY referring to?

I don't think you should have asked that question Lazylaurablue! LOL! OK, i adore Sharon, but.. i did think she went a little bit over the top on Saturday, but thats who Sharon is - Unpredictable! She was unpredictable with Steve last year and she is unpredictable this year, and i bloody love it! GO SHAZ! I have to admit i was embarassed when she said it but i wasn't surprised! I reckon (IMO) that she discussed Shayne on her way to the Studios with Kelly, and they had a joke about it and she decided to say it on the show! LOL, that seems like Sharon and the rest of teh Osbournes to me! But I do adore the family and especially my little Sharon! hehehehe!

No, really, I mean what was she allegedly referring to? I am assuming that if she made those comments that there was some double-entendre there, but aside from blatantly offering Shayne something unmentionable, what was she trying to disguise it as? A cat? A poodle? A bowl of warm custard?

No, really, I want to know! This is just so that I can reassess the situation because my life will be incomplete unless I do, and the world will fall apart.

I still suspect that all the hysteria is just overreactions from a small but vocal minority to the revelation that someone as old as their mum can still think about a man in ways other than whether or not he needs a new jumper

Mind you, I'm now having to get used people's looking surprised when I say I've been chatted up in some random place by someone who wants to date me. Unbelievably it was the 5.30pm from Charing Cross last time. It got me a dinner invite from a rather good looking and newly single guy with his two teenage daughters in tow. And before anyone comments, the daughters encouraged him! Maybe he needs a new jumper, I really hadn't notice; I really must take the train more often...

... and just to think, only another 20 years before I can get cheap rail fares

In spite of being asked later to clarify what she meant......she never did.
Maybe it was a cuddle she meant.

The clip was played again this afternoon on 'Loose Women'. Basically, after Shayne had finished singing, when asked for her opinion of him, Sharon said, "I've got something for you. It's soft, it's warm and it smells very nice. When do you want it?" Shayne blushed and said, "now." That's it really.

Nope, just a single entendre, I'm afraid. Simon gave her the chance to come up with an innocent explanation, but she didn't offer one.

In the Xtra Factor show on sat, Ben had a pot noodle and tried to get her to say it was that she was referring to, but she totally blanked him.... with an awkward look on her face... i thought at the time, "she's had her fingers rapped for that"

Sorry to draw this to your attention but really

Being 'on the toilet' is only a step away from being 'on the potty'.

I didn't even notice her saying it! Perhaps because that sort of thing is normal in LLB's life

No, but seriously I suspect it's because the whole Shayne thing bores me, Sharon or not. If I had noticed it I would probably thought it was funny - and also been quite glad that I have never said anything like that on TV

I think maybe Sharon has fallen foul of her own publicity.

We all know shes the matriarch of the outrageous sweary Osbourne family.
Maybe she thinks now that she has to make an effort to be outrageous, or at least be seen to be making an effort, because thats what she's built her celebrity status on in the past few years.

I've nothing particularly against Sharon, and I really don't care about her current publicity. One thing I will say though, is that I do find her veneer of affable respectability almost as false as most of her physical attributes.

In a way I quite like her, but she chose Ozzie as her husband and that is what she is now building her publicity on in reality, and if she didn't agree with what he once stood for, why did she marry him?

Has she ever explained what she thinks about all that? Does anyone buy the "it was all publicity" stuff about Ozzie's rocking years? Even if it was all publicity, is it good to use that sort of publicity, or does it make someone morally bankrupt and with no real credibility in the "family viewing" stakes? That's what she's actually building her publicity on, and if I have a problem with her at all, it's that.

publicity on, and if I have a problem with her at all, it's that.
what did he stand for? He had too many drugs and too much alcohol. I doubt he had much a life philosophy with all that going on.
