I wonder if anyone can assist with some questions I have related to three contracts.... On the 600 pay monthly package (500 minutes / 100 Texts) :-

- Are Calls counted by the Second? / or as a full minute
- Is Voicemail retreval counted as part of the inclusive minutes
- Do inclusive minutes cover calls to all UK Landlines and UK Mobiles?
- Is it possible to get any sort of 'mid-month check' to see how many of your inclusive minutes and texts you've used?
- Are calls made off the 3 network (when you are out of range) included in the inclusive minutes?

Many Thanks for anyone who is able to assist?

I realize that 3 are not renown for good CS nor their service. But I've been able to order (via Carphone Warehouse) a deal that gives me a Nokia 6630 for £3.99 p/month (by redemption) on a 600 tariff (500 minutes / 100 texts) .... I've really gone for it for the phone features !

Just curious to understand what the package gives me !

After 14days if you have any problems you have to go directly to three getting through to three is hard enough getting to speak to someone you can understand is another. My phone developed a fault on 19th oct arrangements were made for it to be collected the same day i was told to send the phone & battery on 21st oct the phone was returned minus the battery. I spoke to 3 different people that day who promised me a battery within 3-5days it didnt turn up rang up again 30mins listening to music at national rate more promises still no battery i rang em again on monday more promises battery promised by tomorrow, im not holding my breath. I wish you luck because if you join three youll need it.

Voicemail uses inclusive minutes I believe.
Inclusive minutes are for any calls to landlines and any network mobiles, well on threepay they are.
Not sure about mid month checks.
When you lose your 3g signal, you switch over to o2's network, the only problem being is if you are in the middle of a call it will drop it, but all roaming is included in inclusive minutes.
Go for a nokia phone, the rest especially nec are buggy, but improving.
Generally speaking, 3 have improved vastly on coverage. I have been all over the uk with mine and never had a problem, even in the mendips last week.
Granted, customer services are useless still, but most call centres are these days.

Thanks for the replies ....

I realize that the CS is worse than poor (I've heard the similar opinion from friends too) .... but I've ordered a 6630 on this reallyt cheep £3.99 a month deal - and just wanted to check what the 500/100 price plan actually covered me for.

Thanks again !

(Waiting for it to be delivered today)

It turned out the reason why the battery didnt show was cuz they had none in stock, why they couldnt tell me that 2weeks ago ill never know

YOu can check your remianing minutes/texts at any time via 'My 3' for free, whether you've got 2G or 3G connection.

And remember to send off your bills for the cashback on time! I'm on a similar deal and it works out great.

You can dial 333 from your 3 phone for free at any time to find out how many text or minutes you have left, or you can use the plant 3 (mobile web) to find out. Recommend a Nokia 6680 or 6630 if joining 3.
